My heart would have skipped a beat if I had seen this team up on TV back in the 70's. I know that Dynomutt and Blue Falcon were somewhat more comedic spins on superheroes, but I tool them very seriously as a kid. They fell under the Hanna-Barbera umbrella so this crossover could have been done. DC's done a bunch of comic books teaming their roster of heroes with the HB characters, but I haven't seen this one yet.

The closest I've seen is a one shot team up of The Super Sons (Superboy Jonathan Kent and the Damian Wayne Robin) with Dyno-Mutt and Blue Falcon.

Ah, yes! The post-"Future Quest" story arc. I didn't think much of those team-ups. At least, not the main stories from the DC viewpoint.
The backup stories, from the classic Hanna-Barbera viewpoint, were much more fun and suitably light-hearted.
Nice one! Hey, Ross, what about a "Blue Brigade"...Blue Beetle, Blue Falcon, Blue Devil. Maybe even throw in Superman Blue? (Hmmm, too much DC?) Maybe they could be fighting Marvel's Red Skull, Red Hulk, and Crimson Dynamo?

from Marvel, you could add 'blue Shield' and/or 'Blue Diamond'; and then there's 'Blue Bolt (either the Golden Age original or Roy Thomas[?]'s 1980s re-creation of him); and didn't somebody have a 'Blue Bullet, or 'Blue Bulleteer', or such?
Since one storyline had Wonder dog being the dog of the major bad guy and killing(?) one of the jr super friends, this cover story works completely. Well done.
There is a missing link. Both the Blue Falcon and Dynomutt, and the Super Friends, have met the Scooby gang in the brilliant Scooby Doo Team-Up comics written by Sholly Fisch.
I agree, Ross -- this team-up would be awesome if done for real, whether as a comic or a cartoon, though given the lighthearted nature of both shows this probably wouldn't be the story.
And speaking of the Scooby Gang (as our Anonymous poster just did), I'd still love to see some unlikely (and perhaps not so unlikely) team-ups with them: Hellboy, the Inferior Five, Men in Black, the Archie Gang, Werewolf By Night, Man-Thing, etc., just to give some off-the-cuff examples. They might even be handy in teaming up with Spider-Man to deal with Mysterio.
And I like the Blue team suggestion. For Non-Big Two characters you could thrown in the Blue Power Ranger.
Bob, Scooby Doo did meet the Inferior Five (as well as Angel and the Ape) in Scooby Doo Team-Up 36.

Story title = 'Too Many Kooks'; also featuring appearances by Stanley & His Monster, The Maniaks, two rather familiar characters whose names [here] were "Louis Jervis" and "Rob Pope"... and more...

@Carycomic: given that there's no comic book adaptation of the "Leprechaun" films (that I know of), Ross would probably have to use a photo-capture of the beagle from the live-action version of UNDERDOG to counter-balance the one featuring David Warwick in full verdant make-up.
@Cary: You came that close to giving Underdog a Green Lantern ring. Not that that would be a necessarily bad thing; I half-wish Ross would go back to passing them around like candy. Or, at least, give us a cover featuring everyone he's done that with.
@Anon@9:18: That, too, wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. It might even make for a decent Halloween-week cover.

I have to (reluctantly!) side with Anon on this one. Poor Ross is probably so overworked, this time of year, he might only be able to re-release that montage of individual power ring give-aways.
