Teen Titans Vs. The Green Goblin

One cool thing about the persistent rumors of previous Spider-Man franchise movie villains returning for Spider-Man: No Way Home, is that we will most likely get to see upgraded looks for all of them.  I really hope that Willem DaFoe's Green Goblin makes an appearance.  He was perfect in the role, but I always felt they could have done a better job with his costume.  The unmoving helmet hindered his performance and there wasn't any purple in there!

Thank you to Dave Anderson for suggesting this match up!

As Norman is still pursuing Catwoman, I'd venture to guess that this is the verdant version of Harry, himself, expressing/manifesting his resentment at being rejected for membership.

The only confirmed "breakthrough" villains are Albert Molina's Doctor Octopus, and Jamie Foxx's Electro. The former, I think, doesn't really need an update, and probably won't get one as his appearance takes place just minutes after the end of Spider-Man 2. Jamie has said that he isn't "going to be blue" this time out, so a reworking of his look is as apparent as it is welcome.

As for Green Goblin, I thought the solid-face helmet was both logical and creepy; the performance was just right. (Still, "Weird Al" Yankovic had a point in "Ode to a Superhero": "He's scarier without it on!") But the purple is needed; the combination of purple and green is a Marvel tradition!

On a related topic, Orion's appearance the other day had me wondering: what if Green Goblin were to steal the Astro-Harness? I think it'd be really hard to find images that match up correctly, but it'd be a fun cover if you could manage it.

Goblin glider vs. Astro-harness! Wouldn't that be like 1905 Model T vs. 1965 Ford Mustang?

Green and purple, green and purple, now where else have I seen that combination on a supervillain businessman? How about the Green Goblin going after Luthor because he's angry that Lex has "stolen" his colours?

I think I'd rather see a three-way Presidential race between Luthor, Loki, and Foxbat.

i agree with the idea of the Green Goblin on the cover is not daddy Norman but rather Harry himself....
and on to an idea which just struck me...
Stargirl and Stripsey vs Loki and Mobius.....
a cover which features both Luke and Owen Wilson....
what do you think Ross????
possibly a photo cover????

What about Beast Boy and the Beast?

For a Wilson Brothers photo cover, I think I'd prefer S.T.R.I.P.E. and Jedediah.

I've checked now (didn't have enough time to do so when I originally posted that): They met & fought in #2537... and the first comment there, which was by CaryComic, was a suggestion that this might have been the reason for their fight.

Whoa! Awesome cover!
Ross you are awesome! Thank you!

I know this Dave Anderson guy (That's ME!) He's pretty cool...

Harry or Norman? Whoa! Either one would be a pretty decent match-up. I didn't mind Defoe's costume... I just think it might be cool to see him with a classic look...

Maybe Norman for the first round - Harry for the re-match...?
The conceit is that The Titans, like Spidey, had that generation gap, where most of their rogues were adults - authority figures...
