Spider-Man and Starman in: "Storming the Spider-Guild!"

Black Widow will be released at long last today. I've heard only middling reviews so it might be one Marvel film that I wait a couple of months to see when it hits Disney+ for free.  One thing I am very curious about is if the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer will run in front of it, as has been rumored.  I have been trying to avoid spoilers for that upcoming film, but I'll definitely want to see the first official footage from it.  I guess we will find out whether it makes its debut soon!

Spider-Man met the original Starman in STF #1479...

Poor Peter. The more popular he gets the worse his luck gets. WELL, IN SPACE HE MIGHT ALWAYS FIND ANOTHER BLACK SUIT.

I just recently "re-discovered" Price Gavin. Can you believe that character is now 41 years old? Mr. Paul Levitz and the legendary Steve Ditko came up with that character for Adventure Comics in 1980!

I'm sure Spidey's in for a real adventure this time! :)

@Air Dave: especially, if this is a return engagement for him with more-than-just-one member of the Guild.*

Oh, well! Half of yesterday's request granted is better than none.

Did anyone else notice that Spidey's question rhymes?

I actually was able to see Black Widow last night. It was fun to see, and not really much to complain about. The story had plenty of twists, many of which I did not see coming, and not the least of which was the post-credits scene. (I'd seen and heard several fan theories and leaks about the twists, every one of which was wrong!) On the whole it was quite worth the price of the movie ticket.

But at least here in Corvallis there was no Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer. There was one for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, though.

Interesting to use the Prince Gavin incarnation of the character. I'd love to see a pairing between Jack Knight and Spider-Man... Jack got treated as the kid by plenty of other super-heroes (even though he was clearly an adult when he was carrying the Cosmic Staff) and I can see this being similar to his relationship with Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl.

@Daviticus: hopefully, "Spidey" isn't actually Etrigan in disguise. Prince Gavin teaming with him would be most unwise.

I don't think so, Anonymous. Not unless he can teleport via Limbo like Ilyana Rasputin.*

*Etrigan was too busy helping the FF in Latveria at that moment. See STF #3367.

How about doing one of those face-off covers like Uncanny Xmen 100 with two teams on opposite sides of the cover ready to battle. Also I would love to see a JLA/JSA style cover with those little heads down each side of the cover.

I've done a few of those face off type covers - New teen Titans Vs New Warriors and Thunderbolts vs. Secret Society of Super-Villains come to mind. As for heads down the side, STF #300 JLA VS. Avengers fits the bill, there will me more along those lines.

Semi-random thought: We just saw Richard E. Grant playing a version of Loki, and he played The Doctor (of Doctor Who) in a Children in Need skit years ago as well as The Great Intelligence on the actual show. So how about a Loki/Doctor Who cover, with the Great Intelligence as the villain?

How I might answer if I were Ross: "Not just Yeti."
