Batman and Storm
Storm is one of my favorite Marvel heroines. She is very unique in appearance, powers and history and is thankfully not just a female version of a pre-existing male character. I know she has been a big part of the Black Panther series in the past few years, but I think she is strong enough to hold down he own solo title with the right writer.
I was the perfect age for when she went through her mohawk phase back during the X-men's prime. I couldn't believe she went through such a shocking transformation and had to know more. I missed the beautiful long locks but was intrigued by her new attitude. Marvel was good about keeping the new look for just the right amount of time, too - returning her to her classic look within a few years.

"100% Chance of Death!" i love it!!!!
Love your covers, but this one was kinda weak. The Weather advisory just looks too fake.
Not that I could do any better though!
I hat to break it to you, but everything on these covers is fake!
I like the weather advisory. It adds an element of humor. Clever cover, Ross.
Thanks, Brian. Yup, just me being goofy and trying to emulate the bombastic captions that graced the covers of my youth!
Do you have a lot of fonts to work with? I noticed that the word "Death" seems to be a standard font, and it doesn't pop like it should (though I do like the weather advisory overall :) ) Something like "Worlds At War" over at blambot.com (great site for free comic booky fonts) would work well in this context I think.
Keep it up, I am so glad I found this site. -Mea
I just use the fonts MS Paint provides - about 100 or so. But I will definitely check out that site.
