Since Krypto has worked with the (Justice Animal League of America) and (Scooby-Doo & the gang), he is getting some decent exposure. He couldn't talk, but he could work a computer. Kryptonian brains enhanced by yellow sun. Superman used to show that ability too. Too bad they can't bring Topo, the octopus back again.

I remember a Silver Age Nightwing and Flamebird tale where Ak-Var (Van Zee's nephew-in-law) was framed for some Kryptonian high crime and got chased by Kandor's Finest using what were called "esper" hounds. And, back in the mid-Sixties, on the Filmation Adventures of Superman, there was a Superboy cartoon that sort of hinted Krypto was telepathic. So, maybe, they (DCWB) could depict a CGI version of Krypto a semi-sentient telepath.

Maybe Bob Greenwade knows for sure. But, if I recall correctly, Madman was supposed to be a hi-tech zombie whose reanimator (re)named him "Frank Einstein" (as in, Sinatra and Albert).
just the right time as volume 5 of the complete Madman has just been released,
it looks like an Early version of Krypto, he became more like a proper dog in later times, cross between a Greyhound and a beagle,
unless someone tells me otherwise…
we can always use more Krypto…
Nit: live-action big screen debut. Krypto has been in theaters already in DC League of Super-Pets. (Which I liked less than I'd hoped, but others felt differently.)
@LHN: I have to echo that feeling. "League of Super Pets" is about as canonical to the DCCU as any of the Dark Horse-era STAR WARS books and comics are to the present Marvel-Disney era.
