The Sentry Vs. Black Adam

For the penultimate chapter in this 5-Part Tale, we see the solo Avenger that is ready to go one on one against a supercharged Black Adam!  It's a relief to finally get that menace out of the way... but wait, it feels like there is still a loose end. Oh yeah - Galactus is still out there!  Make sure you come back tomorrow for the thrilling conclusion!

YES!!!

A fantasy battle idea worthy of Comic Vine! And, in a way, the Sentry is an ideal choice for both foes. As a Superman pastiche, he's more-than-enough physical might to take on the likes of Black Adam. Whereas, Galactus---who feeds on energy---might be taking on more than he can proverbially chew if he goes up against the Sentry's alternate personality, the Void. A living portal to the Darkforce Dimension that feeds on most everything else!

Thank you, Ross. And, please, bring on part five, ASAP. :-)

P.S.@ Davejonz: it looks like Subby and BA are no longer separated by a Sentry.

I might've guessed Sentry, but I didn't recall him as a member of the Avengers.

Adam's reaction to Sentry's blow seems to be going in the wrong direction; Sentry struck him in a downward motion, but Adam's knocked upward.

Other than that relatively minor detail, this is a great cover.

(I actually had to double-check yesterday's cover to be sure that the Avengers lineup you show at the bottom is the same as on yesterday's cover. Sure enough, and unsurprisingly, you nailed it.)

Yes, the Sentry was a member of the Mighty Avengers, as well as Osborn's Dark Avengers.

@Carycomic and Ross - I don't buy the Sivana story. Clearly Sivana just stumbled across something that is blindingly obvious in the STF universe - Adam and Namor are twins - maybe even clones - and the STF universe is about to reunite them...
Although that just begs the question - whatever happened to Adam's ankle wings?
I hope all will be revealed in the last instalment. (Maybe Galactus has been hiding them under his helmet?)
Anyway, I'm betting that this is the birth of Ross's first original "Amalgam" character - the Black Mariner!

@Davejonz, Carycomic & Ross (attys-at-law?): split the difference, guys. It was Sivana and Evil-eye who brainwashed them into initially thinking they _weren't_ twins!

P.S.---maybe Teth-Adam's ankle wings shriveled up, in the desert heat, and then blew away in a fine dessicated powder.

So… Who is going to take on Galactus?

The Justice League?

at last it’s time for the True power of Forbushman to be put to use ! or a team up with’Mazing man ?
never trust the Sentry as the Void is always in the background….

Sentry reminds me so much of Steve Kent, Super Soldier.
Bob G., Adam looks like he was knocked head over heels. That's ROCKIN'!

Does that mean you'll be getting Egotistical Jeans for Xmas?

@Simon: I would've gone with the most powerful member of the Red Union Suit Squad. Herbie "The Fat Fury" Popnecker! But, of course, now that's all spilled milk under the bridge (or something like that).

@Anon111: nah! They already cleaned his clock...way back in STF #3201.
