Daredevil Vs. Two-Face in: "The Second Signal!"

A lot of people mention Heart of Ice as their favorite episode of Batman: The Animated Series.  That's definitely up there for me, but it is topped by another villain origin from the first season.  The appropriately two-parted Two-Face was the perfect showcase for a character that had not even been featured in cartoons yet, and I was glued to my screen when it first aired.

Daredevil and Two-Face first appeared together in STF #1780...

Six years to backtrack, seconds to absorb. Really great seeing Matt in his "sunshine" state of mind. And Harvey has gone on to join the Catwoman and Joker for being used so much more and in so many different types of stories over the years since the animated series.
Ever feel like you wished the stories could be written Ross?

The signal is for the criminals to see, not DD.

Ever consider a new birds of prey set: Batman, Nite Owl, and NightHawk? They have The Wings and talons of Justice to defeat the bad guys. Hope you never capture their attention.
How many more tropes can you assemble from this?

@Tobor: how about Reed Richards, Ralph Dibny, Birdman and Hawkman as..."The Wraptors!"?

@Ross: don't you wish Batman and DD's first official team-up had included a better McGuffin than Mr. Hyde trying to double-cross Two-Face over a neurochemical wonder drug? Of course, you were probably too young, then, to be employed as even a ghost writer. But, one can dream! Can't one?

I still miss the Spider-Signal.

And since Jen Walters' "ketchup and mustard" remark on TV, this is the costume that I'd want him to wear when facing another of Batman's foes: the Condiment King!

Ty Templeton remains, for me, one of the best Batman artists ever, simply for his work on the various BTAS comics. He's so underappreciated! But you can tell his work at a glance.

"The Second Signal"

Summary- Batman finds himself injured forcing him to ask another hero to help out. Matt Murdock has never been to Gotham before but he takes to the city streets with Robin's help. Things seem quiet until they catch wind of a plot by Two Face to steal both halves of a precious Chinese artifact in one night. Can the Devil of Hell's Kitchen actually pull double duty in the meanest city in America?
