It's crazy how many rumors have come and gone regarding the casting of the new Fantastic Four. Joseph Quinn from the latest season of Stranger Things seems to be the current frontrunner to play Johnny Storm. While I really enjoyed his performance, it might be a little jarring to see him as Johnny, since many have pointed out that he looks a lot like a young Robert Downey Jr.

"Good!" What is Tina talking about? Has she decided to dump Doc Magnus for Jim Hammond? This is a strange thing, indeed.
But, given that you've finally used these Silver Age stalwarts, once again, it's inspired me to ask the following. How about a sequel featuring one of the Robo Forces vs...
"THE NTH-METAL MEN!"
...featuring special guest-villain, Dr. Mysterium.
Actually I'm wondering if this version is Johnny Storm or is it the OG Jim Hammond? Seems like that might make more sense with him wanting to get to Tina and she's willing. Sides with all the times DC has had the Metal Men x-over with the other robotic/artifical lifeform /cybenetic heroes seems a perfect fit. Maybe a part 2 with Vision, Jocasta, and others from the Marvel side. Or another team like the Roustabouts.
i presumed that it was Jim Hammond, but if set at the time Johnny had his run in Strange Tales it could work well…
That's the Johnny logo. I figure it's another tale of one of his ill-fated romances.
On the other hand, it might explain why Doc Magnus was experimenting with synthetic kaiju back in STF #4068. He was probably trying to make it possible for a robot and a human to have organic children!

The latest news I've heard about the F4 is that the strike has pushed Adam Driver out of playing Reed Richards, and it'll now be Matt Smith. The whole situation is just getting more and more confusing.
Today's cover certainly would get my attention on an actual comic. Is Tina suicidal, love-struck, or both? Or something else? What's Johnny up to?
@Ross: thanks for the hint. I had to backtrack all the way to STF #3681! But, now, I know what you meant. Definitely a humbler-style of logo worthy of the Golden Age Human Torch. Whereas Johnny Storm loves ostentation. :-)
@Bob Greenwade: the story behind this cover could easily take place during the Late Silver Age. More specifically; after Crystal had wed Quicksilver and the Scarlet Wtich had wed the Vision; and during the brief interim the Metal Men had been posing as human.*
Johnny, feeling lonely, and Tina (depressed over her unrequited love for Doc Magnus as well as her status as the "token female" of the Metal Men) get involved with each other on the rebound. Faster than you can say "Misery loves company," they're waking up together. In the same hotel room bed. In Las Vegas, Nevada. With a marriage license on top of their jumbled-together pile of clothes.
*For example; Mercury was a temperamental Greenwich Village artist!
