Darth Vader and He-Man

The worlds of Star Wars and Masters of the Universe seem perfect for a crossover.  I'm sure there are plenty of kids who did just that in toy form over the years, mixing and matching action figures and playsets. It would be cool to see these famous glowing weapons up against each other.

this is a Great Idea, is Darth after the power of Greyskull or is He-man trying to protect some children ?

More likely, Vader has deemed He-Man sufficiently enough weakened (by his preliminary run-ins with the brainwashed Batman* and Thor**) that he can now step in with a virtually guaranteed chance of victory!

I had a lot of you crossovers with Star Wars and GI Joe action figures but the MOTU figures were like twice the size of the others.

@Simon: it's probably both. This could be during the first ten years of the post-Clone Wars Jedi Purge. With Vader to trying to locate the ex-Jedi who knows the whereabouts of a certain pair of Force-sensitive children! Master Justiss, I think his name was?

@Anonymous: your theory would be just as valid, except for one thing. Batman and Thor were being mind-controlled by Skeletor! Unless, of course, that was really an impostor! Like a Shi'ido shapeshifter, or a Givin Darkside Force adept, working for Vader as Imperial Inquisitors.

@Ross: I am not a droid. ;-)

@Anon747: you should've used the original GI JOE figures from Mattel. They were a foot tall each!

Now here's a clash I never imagined... but it totally works! Nice one, dude!

On an unrelated note, this idea came to me earlier... Homelander vs. Icon!

Man-at-Arms can teach Han Solo a valuable lesson about respecting his daughter Teela, while Skeletor fumes over Vader stealing his evil spotlight and Ram-Man befriends R2D2.

I have a story concept that's basically Masters Of The Universe meets Star Wars, were I to make a pitch. So this one is extra interesting to me.

But Darth is .ore than strength...Will He-Man be Forced out?

What I'm wondering is: Is Eternia supposed to have two suns? I don't remember that from the original cartoon. ;)

Carycomic said...

@Daviticus: maybe they're actually "duke-king" it out on Tattooine in the ruins of Fort Tusken.

As in, neutral ground and all that jazz.

hey Ross, great cover as is your usual, however isn't the Darth figure from the cover of British Star Wars Weekly by Howard Chaykin????

@Jack-El: by George, I think you've got it!

Is that a Carmine Infantino Darth Vader?

Cover of the month!

Makes me wish Ross could do a Star Wars/WOW crossover. If only to see if he'd entitle it... "The Forge of Whills!"

Anonymous said...

@Carycocmic: why not just call it "Star Warcraft"?

I mean He-Man is basically Luke Skywalker but with more muscles

Carycomic said...

More like Stretch Armstrong minus the super-elasticity.
