In the seventies when Fonz jumped the shark in Happy Day's that was the start of the demise of the show and the saying for shows that were no longer good were said to be jumping the shark hopefully this is not the same for this terrific site which I have enjoyed for so many years.
I've heard of "Jumping the Shark" but c'mon Ross, its been done... remember the Fonz.
I echo what Jim and Jack said. This is just so off-the-wall that I'd buy it without bothering to look inside.
I'm actually on the fence as to whether Mr. Lee would've been actually up to doing a movie like this. Maybe someone can talk Stephen Spielberg and Simu Liu into a pseudo-remake.
Or, maybe, WB can "Discover" a way to do it as the next "Suicide Squad" sequel. RICHARD DRAGON VS. KING SHARK! With the former as an Amerasian anti-hero played by, say, Jason Lee.

Folks, he's not jumping the shark. He's drop-kicking the shark. Totally different.
Folks who have Max (ex HBO MAX) who haven't taken a look at "Warrior" should take a look. They just finished the 3rd season. The scenario, plot outline, and major characters are from the writings of Bruce Lee for a show he was developing to star in. It concerns San Francisco's Chinatown in the late 1800's (the railroad immigration era) from the Chinese point of view, which has been glossed over or stereotyped by most America history sources.
Many of the actors are trained in Bruce Lee's styles of marital arts, and the goal of the show was to have the most bad ass fight scenes yet on TV, and they have delivered.
I think Jason Statham (from The Meg) would tell Bruce Lee that this is his fight.
But I did have another thought... What about Jaws joins a Sharknado! Or some of the sharks from The Meg joining in the fun of a sharknado? Kind of crazy but still interesting.

@Jay Johnson: HBO's too expensive for me, now. As in, the only way I will ever be able to afford is if it's literally scot-free! Besides, no movie, this side of Chuck Norris, will ever have more bad-ass martial arts than THE WARRIORS from 1979.
