Quasar Vs. Sinestro

I'm guessing it will be a while before Quasar shows up in the MCU.  He's a c-lister but I always liked him.  I guess if the Guardians of the Galaxy return for a fourth film with a revamped roster, he could fit in there.

Why not? He's Protector Of The Universe, isn't he? That's almost synonymous with being a GOTG.

As for Sinestro's threat? I'm dead certain it will turn out to be an empty one (as usual). Because with the quantum bands able to handle the entire electromagnetic spectrum, I doubt they'll be overpowered by just the yellow frequency. After all; Eon wouldn't have chosen Quasar to be Mar-Vell's successor, as POTU, if the youngster were in any way easily susceptible to fear.

Sooner or later, Quasar will show up in the MCU, I'm sure. Maybe it'll be a GotG movie, maybe something with Captain Marvel, or even a Nova movie -- or possibly even a Phase 7 movie of his own. He might even get a Disney+ miniseries.

Where is that Sinestro image from? I like it but I don't recognize it.

There is something about this cover that brought back yesterday's.
I have a request.....Black Widow and Bruce Wayne.... Curse of the B.W.

Sinestro's been around a lot longer than we expected from back in the 1960s.

Not to be confused with "Sinistro, Boy Fiend" from a one-shot Charlton spoof of Archie Comics.

Quasar's susceptible to fear; he's not a fearless guy like a GL, but he's brave.

Doesn't matter though; Sinestro's a mook, always has been. His ring used to absorb Hal's energy as well as exploit its yellow weakness, and Hal beat him time after time. Hell, Green Arrow one-punched Sinestro twice that I know of, possibly more often.

Quasar is far more clever than Sinestro; my money's on Quasar.
