Plastic Man and Doctor Who

It might be a while before we see Plastic Man in the big screen, but he might be a good candidate for an animated series or at least one of those DC Showcase shorts.  I enjoyed his appearances on Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and even remembering liking his original cartoon from when I was a kid, as cheesy as it may have been.

BBC America's version of this story would probably be entitled...

"Pawn Of The Autons!"

I mean, after all, they _are_ plastic men. Remember?

Definitely a possible explanation for Woozy Winks.

Amnesia imposed by the Lords of Order, who think that everybody should stay in their own proper time, perhaps? Did 'Woozy' perhaps try to meddle with history a bit too obbviously for their liking?
(Cue a follow-up cover with Dr Who & Dr Fate...)

This reminds me of a certain someone...

- His appearance changes every few centuries
- Has a shape-changing vehicle of nigh-unlimited capacity
- Can manage an itinerary that defines the laws of space and time

...clearly, Santa Claus is a Time Lord!

@Bob Greenwade: Shouldn't that have read "...defies the laws of space and time"?

@Simreeve; not a bad idea! I can see it now. Dr. Fate and Dr. Who vs. Mr. Who in... "Who Will Win?"

Drs. Who and Fate have met ... way back in STF #407!

After what we saw with Dr #2, yep, it is completely believable. And a wink at history.

@Cary: You are correct. My typo.

Perhaps show the Doctor in Jack Kirby's 2001: A Space Odyssey comic? The Time Lords could be challenged by the creators of the Monolith.

Peter David once wrote about the possibility that Mary Poppins was a Time Lord. Her carpetbag was her TARDIS; her umbrella was only a prop.

over the last couple days i was
thinking of various Doctor Who's
running into time-traveling versions of Jack the Ripper such as Redjak from the Star Trek episode and Sebastian the Inquisitor from Babylon 5 and John Druitt from Sanctuary and the David Warner character from Time After Time.....
as a photo capture series of covers would be my preferred formats.....

Would it be entitled "Four Jacks"?

"Would it be entitled "Four Jacks"?"

There just has to be a cover, sooner or later, for
'Wooz on First?' ... :D

Starring Plastic Man and the Hanna-Barbera versions of Abbot and Costello?
