What will they learn, specifically? That both of their scientific benefactors were inspired by a certain dimension-hopping pylon?
Nice one! We still need that Machine Man/G.I. Robot team-up though.
Whatever they learn, I hope we get some clue about how it changes each of them the next time they show up. It might be their own third pairing (they met before in #3526), or separate adventures with other heroes in unusual pairings -- like MM with Doctor Fate, or Creeper with the Silver Surfer.
For instance; Machine Man and Dr. Fate vs. Baron Brimstone? Or the Creeper and the Silver Surfer vs. GL Gnort Gneesmacher (mind-controlled by Madcap)?
How the other side exists? Neither would be like the majority of heroes they encounter.
Or they could discover that Madmen (like Ted Kord's old foes of the same name) made even worse cyborgs.
