Jessica Henwick mentioned that she turned down the opportunity to star in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings to do The Matrix: Resurrections. That's OK because it still leaves her free to reprise Colleen Wing alongside Simone Missick as Misty Knight. They were great in the roles in the Netflix shows, but it was a shame that they never truly became The Daughters of the Dragon. If Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk can make the transition to the MCU, why not them? I'd love to see them show up on Echo, a new Daredevil series, or even a show of their own.

Great composition here, Ross. Very nicely put together and makes me wonder why Marvel hasn't tried a traditional Heroes for Hire book starring the Daughters of the Dragon. I know they tried a HfH book with Misty as the lead but that was more of a Mission Impossible style book.
I usually check the blog on my phone. For some reason, the labels aren't visible when I check it that way. I'm often interested in seeing which artists are included in each cover. I know you include the artists in the labels section but I can't see them on my phone. Any chance you'd consider adding an "Artists: xxx" to the end of your write up for each cover?
I'll wait for the silver screen versions, if it's all the same.
As for this odd triple? My mind is too boggled to even attempt a hypothesis as to what events might lead up to this situation in an actual comic.
If you are looking at the blog on your phone, chances are it will be in mobile format rather than desktop format.
If so, the website address will end ?m=1
If you change this to ?m=0 you should see the blog in desktop format which includes the labels.
Thus is the default set-up. It would be theoretically possible for Ross to change settings to show labels in mobile node too, but when we readers raised that option a few years ago, he indicated an understandable preference to concentrate on creating the covers rather than programming the website.
At the bottom of mine is a link that says, "View web version," which makes it look just like it would on a desktop computer.
Interestingly, while Harley and the Daughters look like they're from different decades (00's and 80s respectively), the combination works. And Misty's comment is spot-on.
Oh, and keep this image of framed weapons. I think it'd be perfect for a future cover with, say, Arthur and White Feather.
Do you know what role Jessica was up for? If it was Katy, then another good thing about her turning it down is Awkwafina's performance in the role, which was one of many truly brilliant things about the movie.
And of course you're right about her as Colleen Wing. It's likely that Kevin Feige (and other Marvel PTB) are waiting to see how well the proper Daredevil cast work out before bringing other Netflix characters in, especially those from Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Even so, a Heroes for Hire show on Disney+, featuring Luke, Danny, Misty, and Colleen, would certainly be exciting to anticipate (and, if the stuff that's aired so far is any indication, to watch)!
Regarding Harley: I'm still eager to see a revival/continuation of her rivalry with Doc Samson. But mostly I wish I could think of more characters who use hammers; all I've got are her, Thor, and Steel. A team of them would be fun (especially if they were on the trail of a certain Dr. Maxwell Edison).
I favor your last suggestion, Bob. If only to see if Ross would use the title "It's Hammer Time!"

Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer in the musical superhero comedy with Neil Patrick Harris as "Doctor Horrible's sing-along...." would be another hammer hero.....

I like today's cover, especially considering you used renditions of all three done by one of my favorite artists in Amanda Conner.
