After my most recent Spidey-Robin 2-Parter (which began in STF #2755 and Concluded in STF #2756), there were some requests for a version of the pairing that featured Damian Wayne and Miles Morales. Well, here you go!
The Original Spidey and Robin have had a bit of history on the blog - They first met back in my B&B: The Lost Issues days... They used the Spider-Signal in STF #2417... Batgirl joined them for an adventure in STF #938... They met when Dick Grayson became Nightwing in STF #87... and Spidey even helped train Tim Drake to take over the Robin role in STF #838... they met when Robin was in the original Teen Titans in STF #619... and again in the New Teen Titans in STF #767... not to mention when their successors met up in STF#529 and continued their adventure in STF #530...
Coming tomorrow: STF #2800!

How about: Robin and the Black Cat (HARVEY Comics) (and Kit); Spider-Ham and Spider-Pig (The Simpsons Movie); Spider-Man and George of the Jungle; oh... and speaking of jungle men, how about Fred Flintstone and DISNEY"S Tarzan; on the openings of later Flintstones episodes (like MeTV is showing now), Fred slides down the brontosaurus- crane(?)'s tail while in an on-his-feet posture, like Tarzan (on tree branches(?))
Wow... you've had enough Spidey-Robin team-ups to give them their own tag. You could even amalgamate them into SpideRobin (well, if you can find and manipulate the right artwork).
Has Miguel O'Hara been a part of these? You could team him up with the Robin from "The Dark Knight Returns."
I'm looking forward to tomorrow's #2800! (And according to my calculations, #3000 will be at the end of June; I'm hoping for a lot of call-backs in that one!)
PS: Never mind. I found Miguel and Carrie.
Hmmmmmmmmm! Could Fisk have given Talia and Batman a slow-acting poison obtained from the Council of Spiders?
It would certainly explain Damian's reversion to hot-headedness.
A great pairing Ross. And they look good together on the cover. I'm not completely up-to-date but there are multiple Robins...and several Spideys. So... ever thought about trying to cram them ALL onto a cover?
When I saw this cover, Ross, it screamed a different combination: The Shadow & Mighty Mouse. (not an easy blend on any level.)
LOVE Miles Morales.
LOATHE Damian Wayne. "Oh look, I'm twelve, but I can kick the butts of many adult 'apex of their category' martial artists/heroes/villains! So weak.
Thank you, Tobor; now I'm wanting to actually see Ross team up the Shadow with Mighty Mouse.
(Not as much as I want to see the Shadow and She-Ra, but still...)
@Davejonz: not a bad idea. Ross could incorporate the background once used for a certain Superman cover. One literally crawling with Batmen!
@Tobor and Bob: split the difference. Have the Shadow team up with both Mighty Mouse AND She-Ra! The common enemy who brings them together?
Ultra-Goof!*
*An evil version of Super Goof who is to Nega-Duck's homeworld what Ultra-Man is to Silver Age Earth 3.
This is getting better and better. Who knew the Shadow could be so popular?
Oh, right.....
@ Cary: Nahhhhhhhh! Super Goof brainwashed by Evil-lyn on behalf of Nega-Duck would be more believable.
I'd love to see a 'girl-power' version with Carrie Kelley and either Spider-Girl (Peter's daughter) or Spider-Gwen aka Ghost-Spider
@Anon1016: well, if Ross is gonna get that campy, he should make it the Archie Comics version of the Shadow from the 1960's.*
*Think Batman'66 with the powers of Marvel's Cloak.
@Bob: by my calculations, #2900 should arrive on or about the 2nd of April.
No fooling!
If #2900 is on 2 April, then #2899 would be perfect for letting Ambush Bug get the Infinity Gauntlet. Then we'd get to see the aftermath -- stuff like Goofy becoming the Spectre, or Spaceman Spiff vs. Galactus.
@BG: I'd rather see Hobbs get eaten by Alf. :-)
