I've been getting a kick out of the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover on the CW. My favorite part so far occurred in the last installment. SPOILERS FOLLOW...
I loved that the solution to the problem of The Flash's destined sacrificed was resolved by having John Wesley Shipp's 90's era Flash taking the place of Grant Gustin's Flash at the last moment. It recreated a key moment from the Crisis story, while finally giving closure to the 90's series that was abruptly cancelled. I can't wait to see what's in store for the last two chapters.

What really makes this cover is the reaction of Iron Man and Doctor Strange. It makes me wonder what was going on when they were originally drawn... not that this isn't good enough.
Of course there would be a story inside of how this "race" came to be, and how it affects things. I have no idea what that story would be, but it's bound to be there.
As for the Crisis crossover, I do agree with you about what was done with the Earth-90 Flash. It was what I predicted almost as soon as the Monitor told Earth-1's Barry, "The Flash must die." (My alternate theory, that Oliver would use the Book of Destiny to trade places with him, was well off the mark, of course -- though a couple of parts of that did find their way into the story!)
One part of that episode has been bothering me, though, and that's the Bird of Prey scene. That bit was put in Part Three instead of Part One for a reason, and I have to think that it's because of whatever data Oracle was trying to transmit. I kept waiting for it to be paid off during the episode, but it wasn't; hopefully there'll be something in the last half.
There Is a Quasar comic where Barry appears and races Quicksilver and other Marvel speedsters.
This is hilarious. I'm reminded of an episode of Teen Titans Go where Robin and Kid Flash have a race with similar results... then in the rematch, Robin kneecaps Wally with his staff and wins the race. I can totally imagine Wade doing the same thing.
Future cover suggestion: Have you done one with the Reyes family? On Earth-STF I have no doubt that Jaime Reyes aka Blue Beetle is related to Robbie Reyes aka Ghost Rider (the one that drives a car)

Hyram: @Brainy: Timey Wimey stuff, of course. The easiest out is that by going to Earth-1, and then disintegrating there he outran the time change wave, and eventually would have faded out if Earth-1 had stuck around.
Has anybody else noted the Crisis disintegrating effect is almost exactly the same as Thanos' snap effect? Or Dark Phonenix's effect in X-Men 3?

It's as appropriate with regard to Deadpool's mental acuity as his physical speed (in comparison to Barry Allen's).

@Carycomic: Simreeve is right. Jarvis (the Avengers' butler) is more clean-shaven than present-day Alfred.
I’d like to imagine how this “race” started.
Nevertheless, Tony and Steven’s reactions just kill me, like they knew Wade was just embarrassing them for pulling this stunt.
