The Flash and The Whizzer in "Central City Substitute"

The Speed Demon has tried to take over for a Flash on this blog before - namely Jay Garrick in STF #2161... Jay has met up with the Whizzer a few times as well - first in STF #293, then again in STF #822, and finally with the whole Liberty Legion in STF #2684...

I love that little ring. It gave such a big prise.
Ross, your execution of this concept is smashing. The background is unlike the bright colors of most covers and gives it an extra oomph.

The Golden Age Whizzer has two reasons to be angry with Speed Demon. The main one indicated by this cleverly crafted cover. And the second one being the slanderous soiling of his good pseudonym by Speed Demon's use of it in his early days (with the Squadron Sinister).

Only two comments?! :-(

Everyone else must be doing their last-minute Xmas shopping.

@Anon: It just went by so fast!

@Ross: Looking at this cover, I can only imagine that the work of putting it together did not go fast, and it looks like it could be an actual comic cover. Nice work.

How about, for Valentine's Day, Animal Man and...Princess Python!

@Anon1236: I'm for that! Just to see if Ross could splice together cover art from IRON MAN vol. 1/#50 with any of his Animal Man captures already in stock.
