With Henry Cavill now officially out as Superman and done with The Witcher, will any of the speculation of him joining the MCU as Captain Britain (or maybe Hyperion) pan out? It sounds like he may be busy getting a Warhammer-related project off the ground soon, but he may be available for both. Marvel seems to really be slow rolling their announcements these days though - so even if he does join I'm sure it will be a while before we hear anything about it.

God forbid it, of course! But, what if superhero movies are starting to fade in popularity? The same way Westerns disappeared from the silver screen during the time between THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES and SILVERADO.
Considering Modred (not be confused with Arthurian Mordred) was always being depicted as an easily mind-controlled Good Guy, it could be he's under Silver Banshee's spell.
@Carycomic: I'd vote in favor of that. Especially given the fact that, so far, Silver Banshee's one-and-only appearance in the Ross-verse was restricted to a glorified wanted poster!
If Henry's out of the DCEU and the Witcher projects, well, good for him. He's still fine as Sherlock in the Enola Holmes movies (despite looking nothing like the original illustrations of the character), and adding Captain Britain to his resumé would be just the thing. The Warhammer project would almost certainly be better than The Witcher.
And I think introducing Captain Britain in Captain America: New World Order would be quite fitting, though he could also be introduced in Loki or some other multiverse-related project.
I'm hoping he'll play X-O Manowar in a Bloodshot sequel (opposite Vin Diesel in the title role).
That depends on how many multiverse characters they want to play with. If Avatar does well at the box office, some race of new blue people may be expected in future Marvel movies.
Why DC's people want to go back in time for a Superman movie doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Clark doesn't get a lot of screen time anyway.
How about a Pandoran vs. the Last Airbender (as in "Battle of the Avatars")?
While an interesting idea (and spot on casting choice), I think Cavill as Captain Briton would be a wasted opportunity. He should be the Phase 5/6 Dr. Doom. The MCU needs a strong villain, and Cavill/Doom would be just what they need.
How about Brandon Routh as Dr. Doom and Colin Firth as Capt. Briton?
