Ghost Rider and The Phantom Stranger in: "Stay of Execution!"

Ghost Rider came to The Phantom Stranger's rescue in STF #3540, and  now it's time for that favor to be returned.  There's something very cool about the Stranger's design. On half of his cover appearances, all that is shown of him is his shadow/silhouette - and it still always makes for a striking image.  I hope that's an effect that can be translated to live action if the character is ever brought to the big screen.

Only if the translation is done with CGI.

I was half-expecting Tala of the Dark Circle.

I'd love to see the OG Ghost Rider aka Phantom Rider meet the Phantom Strangers

Wicked Ross! Ghost Rider sure has been busy here in the last few weeks. The Holidays must be especially rough for him. This would make a good two-parter to see how the Stranger could him help him. If at all???

His shadow/silhouette with -- the "whites of his eye slots". That's what's different than Batman's shadow.
The 50s version seemed to be an earth bound ghost that appeared if you were lucky when you needed help. The 70s version was like a more limited in power Spectre. The current version seems to have been taken off the board entirely. Not happy with the newest version at all, and it did not help his "legend" at all.

Your cover is right on target Ross. A great story waiting to be told.

Tobor hit on what's so special about the Phantom Stranger's shadow -- that his glowing eyes show up there as well as on his person. Combine that with how his in-person visage always has those glowing eyes in the shadow of his hat brim -- and he's never seen without his hat -- he'd be a challenge to pull off in live action -- and would require much help from the VFX department.

As for his future here, I was just thinking this morning that it'd be fun to have someone like Big Ethel to develop a crush on him for a story titled "P.S. I Love You." And something in my mind is picturing him helping out the Strange Brothers in the past, though I'm not sure whether that's happened or not.

The villain looks more like a smaller edition of Disney's Bald Mountain Guy.
