Bernie Wrightson was a perfect artist to bring Swamp Thing to life. He was a master of the human form, as well as light and shadow, and was also quite adept at creating cool creature designs. That was a perfect set of skills to give readers an iconic muck encrusted mockery of a man that they would still root for, as well as a roster of creepy villains. I know it worked on me!

Wrightson was indeed perfect for the begining of Swamp Thing, but I loved Steve Bissette and John Totleben on Alan Moore's run.

I think it's safe to say that our young heroes are definitely in a "Heap" of trouble.
Absolutely great pair since the Quest team were dealing with strange and interesting creatures. Would love to see an old style DC-style team up with Quest and another group with 5 in it and the little circular head shots of each team member on left and right side of screen.
Cary: It's funny you should mention The Heap...
Glenn: I like the circular heads on covers too, I have been meaning to include them more often.
Great cover, Ross. Coincidentally, the original Sam Keith was sold on Dueling Dealers on CAF's YouTube just this week.
Cool!
Don't worry, Bandit will save them!
Coming Soon: the Quest team need to rescue Jade from.... the Amazons. Wonder Woman in?
"A slight Misunderstanding"
Jonny Quest is owned by Time Warner, but most of the team-ups with him so far have been DC, which DC themselves could do if they were so inclined. More Marvel combos like Man-Thing and Fin Fang Foom would be welcome. Morbius or the Lizard would seem like typical encounters. Or even go elsewhere in Disney; the Quest team could team up with Darkwing Duck, or be captured by Jabba the Hut. They could even face off against Godzilla!
Speaking of Godzilla, I think it also might be interesting to have an adventure of Big G versus Chemo. (Time to break out the Industrial Strength Listerine!) And I'm still hoping you can one day find the images to make an Inferior Five vs. Godzilla cover as cool as the one with Galactus.
@ross: I'm all for Mr. Greenwade's second suggestion...with one slight addition.
Have Godzilla backing up Doc Samson during the confrontation against Big-Bubbly-and-Plastic. That way, you could call it... "Chemo Therapy!"
@Bob: maybe Ross could superimpose the Godzilla from STF #1376 on to the background of STF #1116. Thereby substituting the I-5 for the Teen Titans!
Where's Sequoya Duchesne when you really need him?
Man Thing, Swamp Thing, 'Grimm' Thing...ya pretty much got every 'thing' covered with Jonny. Was this a Comico cover capture?
Only 8,8, ....8 Days are left for the event on the horizon. Is this any way to run a 'heir' line? The 'Race' is on for the right guess. What a quest.
If Jonny and his family went in search of an MIA Human Torch, would that make it a "Quest For Fire?"

How about with the Challengers of the Unknown (including June Robbins as their fifth member)? That would seem a good match.

Challengers of the Unknown and Jonny Quest
How about Jonny Quest and the Ghostbusters?
Or Quest and the Question?
A questionable team-up, at best. ;-)
