Thanks for the light relief...
this must be the "spot" to throw a little "light" on the subject. these guys were so "bright" when they were kids there moms called em' "sunny". when they went to the beach with there girlfriends and there was no sun they gave there girlfriends a tan.

I thought you had already established that, according to the opening credits of Thundarr, it came in 1994. Unless, you're referring to either Captain Comet (Thor's brother, here in the Ross-verse); or the super-horse who's actually a cursed centaur?

Sunspot's next appearance can be receiving a Green Lantern ring: "In Blackest Day, In Brightest Night!"
Sunspot, Moon Knight, Star (boy, girl,man).........a new group to be formed? With them, the Sky's the limit. They're Sky High.
I prefer "The Astronomicals." Like "The Untouchables," only more heavenly?
Add Captain Comet to that collection! (I'd suggest Max Mercury and Saturn Girl, but the group is already DC-heavy enough.) And their first foe can be... Eclipso!
For more diversity of sources, you could add (Archie/Red Circle)'s The Comet.

The Golden Age version or the Silver Age version?
If any version of 'Starman' or 'Stargirl' or the 'Star-Spangled Kid' is used, then one to match them; Otherwise, why not both?
H'mm, didn't Marvel have a 'Comet-Man' at one point? Put him together with both versions of The Comet, plus DC's Captain Comet and Comet Girl and 'Comet the Super-horse, and you've got -- as a tribute to author Jack Williamson -- 'The Cometeers'. :)

@Cary: Naw! That was the Nickelodeon series that was kind of like "007 meets the Magic Treehouse."
If the two of you are referring to "Kids Next Door," that was a made-for-Cartoon Network series. A Ted Turner-funded brainchild!
