This cover serves as a sequel to STF #1774, when these two first crossed paths. I can imagine Jim Corrigan finding a kinship with the savage yet heroic Logan. It's a little harder to imagine what Wolverine actually as the Spectre would be like, but it would be fun to find out!

Actually, with Spectre being the Spirit of Vengeance, maybe he could empower Inigo Montoya.

Wow, scary concept! Wolverine as the embodiment of God's wrath. The supervillains would be wiped out! Also all gangs, and evil dictators! The United Nations organization would take a huge hit, too. Stop sex traffickers. Drug lords. Wow! Criminals would be repenting and turning themselves in as fast as they could!

I can see it, now. The great-great grandson of Dr. Frankenstein reanimates a dead American marine for the Imperial Japanese Army, then gigantizes him using a substance he calls "Essen der Gotten (Food of the Gods)." So, Uncle Sam retaliates by having the granddaughter of Dr. Jekyll reanimate Kong's body using the blood of Count Dracula!
Maybe... Kong vs. (the Japanese) Ultraman?
To see Norman McCay give his recount of Kingdom Come to Karl Kolchak, or some other famous reporter who delved into the occult or paranormal would still be awesome!
How about Spidey '77 and Carl Kolchak team up with Andrew Bennett against the Blood-Red Moon?*

Actually, that's not a bad idea! Jim, Spock, and McCoy could use the Guardian of Forever to visit Gotham City in 1966 to prevent the death of Amanda Grayson's earliest known ancestor: Bruce Wayne's youthful ward, Dick Grayson.
Yeah, but who would be the Chief Bad Guys? Mr. Spock's half-Romulan love child from that brief liaison with Joanna Linville's character from "The Enterprise Incident," perhaps. Or maybe Khan Noonein Singh and Catwoman. Or maybe even the Joker, Squire Trelane and...The Time Trapper!
Ross could use a photo-capture of the Christmas Future Ghost, from Bill Murray's SCROOGED, for that one.
I'd tend to favor just the Time Trapper. Or maybe it's a sinister Dalek plot, orchestrated by Davros!
