Batman, Angel and Colossus
These two X-Men never realized their full potential in the Fox X-movies. I'm looking forward to seeing what direction they go in when they eventually join the MCU.
Batman met Colossus in a B&B: The Lost Issues cover from 2010, and met Angel in B&B: The Lost Issues cover from 2011...

It took a Deadpool to release the Colossus!
He was actually in X2: X-Men United.
A Strange Mastermind with 30-30 vision became the Bane of their teaming. Whew. Not even a Red Sun could slow them down before. It might take an Archangel to prevent this Apocalypse from being realized. Boy, it's a wonder why the Wayne - Worthington merger let things get this far at all. May the Red Star lead you to a happy breakthru in this problem.
No doubt about it, this old Angel has the Birds of Pray on his side. And no need to worry, Batman is always lucky when he teams up with the Man of Steel.
An odd trio. Yet, somehow, it works!
Colossus in the Deadpool movies is treated as a big joke -- which is appropriate for those movies, but really doesn't work for the MCU (or even the Fox X-Men Universe). I'd love to see how the actual MCU Colossus works -- especially if Kevin Feige decides to canonize New Mutants.
Angel, of course, we've hardly seen at all.
I'm hoping that the first MCU X-Men movie features the five OG X-Men -- Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, and Marvel Girl -- and then the second brings in the classic "New" gang including Colossus, Storm, Nightcrawler, et al. The third one can bring in more recent favorites.
(Of course, some of these X-Men can be introduced in other films and Disney+ shows. For example, rumors abound that Storm will be in Black Panther 2, and that an Incredible Hulk show that Mark Ruffalo's been pitching willinclude an episode with Wolverine. And I wouldn't mind if the MCU included the Deadpool versions of Cable and Negasonic Teenage Warhead.)
That's a good idea for a sequel cover!
NTW meets the TMNT.
Or, failing that, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negative Man vs. Negaduck.
@Anonymous: how about the Totalitarians vs. the Truants, instead?
I'll second the NTW/TMNT suggestion.
I'll T-H-I-R-D it.
:-)
I have to wonder if the Drakes (Tim and Bobby) are somehow involved in this team-up. Like, say, being captured/brainwashed/transformed into a couple of Hugo's subservient "monster-men?"
How about Batman, the Angel and Space Ghost for a team? Angel in his newer suit was more interesting but having his face so exposed didn't make much sense.
Well, you got one-third of your wish, DT. ;-)
