Daredevil and Black Canary

Lots of theories are swirling around the inclusion of Daredevil into the MCU and it will be interesting to see where he lands.  Some say that since Peter Parker will need a lawyer after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Matt Murdock will be introduced as his legal counsel.  Then there's the rumor that DD and other street level heroes will form a Marvel Knights-type team on Disney+.  Some rumors say all the characters that appeared on the Netflix Shows will be recast, and others indicate that Charlie Cox will stay in the role.  Hopefully once Hollywood gets up and running again, we'll get some concrete answers about DD's live action future.

Scooby Dooby DOOO! and they both predate them so there's no meddling kids to ruin it for this murder mystery.

This cover works so well. Young Matt with the more experienced Dinah and the two look like they belong together, on a case and off. I could see this as an animated adventure right out of the original Jonny Quest era.

Back in the Golden Age, the secret would've turned out to be that the "mountain" was actually a silicone-based giant alien from outer space!

P.S.--happy upcoming anniversary! Less than fifty days to STF #3000.

Another good candidate for Peter's lawyer would be Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk. She's represented Spidey in the comics once or twice -- once in a suit by Spider-Man against the Daily Bugle, Jonah Jameson . . . and irresponsible photographer Peter Parker!

This will sound like an over-used trope. But, it doesn't make it any less accurate. So, here goes...

Brilliant photo-capture, Ross! :-D

I honestly can't tell where one leaves off and the other begins. It makes me wonder what you might have in store for issue three thousand. Archie meeting Harley Quinn at a cosplay contest, perhaps? Maybe while dressed as Wade Wilson's alter-ego? I can see the title, now.

Another great homage to four of the greats of the Golden/Silver Age. Daredevil by the team of Joe Orlando with Vince Colletta, inks, from Daredevil #2, June 1964 (sorry folks no Wally Wood) and Carmine Infantino with Frank Giacoia, inks, on the Black Canary splash page from Flash Comics #95, May 1948. Again great job Andy, I really enjoy researching your covers!

@Carycomic: One idea could be Archie Andrews and HANNA-BARBERA's Richie Rich; they dress similarly.

Paul: Who is Andy?

@Anonymous: on the other hand, if gynophobic asexual Jughead Jones was to replace Galan Taa-an as "Devourer of Worlds," would that make him...Anti-Gal-actus?

221, didn't he retire because of Opie um?

@437: Yeah! But, some guitar-playing lawyer from Georgia got him acquitted. ;-)

@Last 3 Anons: I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that's not a guitar, but a tenor ukulele, at least in the lawyer's case.

Carycomic said...

Nope! It was most indisputably a good old acoustiscal guitar.

Hey! They just delivered a new case the judge ordered for the staff.
