I really liked the original design for Lorraine Reilly as Firehawk. The flaming wings are a great visual and give the character a real sense of motion on the printed page. She was later redesigned with a blue flame motif, and that looked cool as well - but I prefer her appearance above, as it went well with Firestorm's costume.

Both Firestorm and Firehawk are highly underused characters. And they're both very cool.
Its been quite a while since i've seen Firehawk. Was she cured? Nice work Ross.
Her design reminds me a bit of Marvel's Fire-Lord. Perhaps a firefight between the two could be cooked up sometime...
She should be on legends of tomorrow
She could replace Firestorm on the Legends New Earth.
You know, I could see this being done as a real-world crossover. Assuming Typhoon was the super-villain who brought them together! If memory serves, he was a Firestorm foe...and Drake was his surname.
Cary, he already has half the DC and Marvel universe related. Do we really want to add more? :)
Does the word "Yes!" give you a hint?
;-D
Carycomic Going after that drake would be a wild goose chase.

Or how about having her meet another herald of Galactus: Nova (Frankie Raye)?
Firehawk & Nova vs Phoenix?
How about a Feline Force -- Selina Kyle, Thomas Blake, T'Challa, Tigra, and Nastassja Kinski's werecat from Cat People -- bringing justice to Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tom Hooper?
@Horsefeathers: Swan never knows...
With Bob Medley singing "I Had The Time Of My Nine Lives."
@Cary: accompanied by Jennifer Warnes...or Shirly Maclaine?
@Films & HHH: Legends of Tomorrow has a pretty big cast right now. Some cast members -- Mona, Charlie, Nora, and Gary -- seem to have dropped off, and while some may return (I suspect that Mona and Charlie will be back in short order), the cast is still pretty thick for adding more right now. Should the Waverider crew drop far enough, though, Firehawk would be a good addition.
@ShadowWing: I'm with Cary. I'm still looking forward to the next installments with the Danvers Twins, the Strange Brothers, and the Walker cousins. For that matter, a "Family Reunion"-themed Giant Size Anniversary Special would be a good bit of fun some time.
@Ross: Speaking of relatives, what if we were to discover that Victor Von Doom is a cousin of Judge Doom?
@RavenLunatic: I think Ross may have already done something similar, but I wouldn't mind seeing a bunch of feline-themed heroes (probably including at least one ThunderCat) in a Cats-themed cover. The villain of the piece (in the Macavity role) could be General Parvo from Road Rovers.
@Ross: And for another animal theme, maybe we can have Danger Mouse chasing Pinky & the Brain? (I'd still really would rather see them being investigated by the Question, or stealing the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos, but Danger Mouse would be fun too.)
@Bob don't forget to add Margo & Lois Lane to that family album.
@all above: the Hospitality Union has requested that you all consider having a multi families reunion at the House of Secrets & Mysteries. A gentleman by the name of Hitchcock gives it his highest recommendation. No expense is spared in keeping the guests from getting bored.
"Welcome to the Hotel California. You can check out anytime you like. But, you can never leave!"
Love the title!
Is it true the Lane family's women work undercover as singers? The shadow of your smile..
Is Bobby any relation to John Drake?
@Chuck: full credit goes to The Eagles.
"Is Bobby any relation to John Drake?"
There's some danger of it, man. ;-)
