Mister Terrific and Wolverine

This might be a fun combo to see.  Wolverine is known to take the direct approach, using brute force and claws to clear obstacles in his way.  Mr. Terrific will assess a situation first before using intellect and gadgetry to find a resolution.  It would be interesting to watch them have to find a way to work together.

Hope Mr Terrific had a nice nap while Logan took care of those diversions.

How about a nice picnic setting for a debut? Heal vs Mr Miracle.

Should have been Hela

Darn it! I was expecting the Mr. Terrific from that one-season wonder back in the Sixties. It was kind of a cross between Superman and "Get Smart."

I can see how this would go down. In a 32-page story, there'd be about 24 pages of arguing about methodology, with Wolvie wanting to "frag 'em all" and Holt taking the more cautious approach. Then, on page 25, the above scene happens, followed by:

Wolverine: So... what now, partner?
Mr. Terrific: Frag 'em all.
Wolverine: Copy.

Then three pages to dispatch this gang, one to find who's pulling their strings, two to dispatch that person, and the rest to wrap up.

PS: Some time, I'd love to see this Mr. Terrific teamed with the one cited by the above Anonymous.

Nah That one was a pill popper. 8)

So were Underdog and Roger Ramjet when you think about it. I've still never heard any parents' groups bad-mouth those cartoons!

Ross how did Mr Miracle escape your usage?
______what do you mean he did it Scott free!

You are right Cary, yet Superfriends were cut down for too much violence. Hitting a bad guy - bad. Popping a pill- no problem. 8(

Better subduing through chemistry. :-)

Seriously, though: The PTA's of this country might've objected to the so-called violence depicted in the later incarnations of the show. But, definitely not during the Marvin and Wendy era!

Simple solution for Miracle put him against Doc Doom?

Like the Golden Age Hourman, most if not all of those "pill-poppers" were at their peak before much was known about the dangers of prescription drug misuse, steriods, etc. (Heck, I was loaded up with antibiotics to fight my acne before anyone -- including my dermatologist -- realized that it would do a number on my immune system. I'm fortunate to have come out with only mild-to-moderate arthritis.)

@Caryomic: Did Popeye's spinach have steriods in it? LOL! XD!; BTW, did Alley Oop push Popeye-type spinach to Bamm-Bamm Rubble, leadind to his being too weak in his teen years to break out of a "cement suit" (disguised as a statue)? XD!

More likely, it was exposed to X-kryptonite. The Silver Age isotope of green-k that temporarily gave Earthlings super-powers similar to Kal-El.

Stands to reason. During the Forties, both Popeye and Superman worked for Fleischer Studios. ;-)

"@Caryomic: Did Popeye's spinach have steriods in it?"

At the time when Popeye first appeared, "spinach" was actually among the slang terms for marijuana...
