Some people felt that Spider-Man sort of felt shoehorned into Captain America: Civil War, but since we have seen so much of the character cinematically I think most audience members were able to fill in the blanks as far as his story goes. Black Panther was the hero that I think could have benefitted the most with a little more screen time. I will say that the Russo Brothers got a lot of information about him in with his limited role, but I wanted to see even more. This just makes increases my anticipation to see his solo outing, even though it may not be all that solo given how many Avengers are hanging around in Wakanda at the end of Civil War.

Pedantic-Consulate, not an Embassy. Embassies are only in the capital of a country.
No prize explanation-Per Batman: The Movie Gotham houses the United World Organization (which is totally not the UN), Wakanda opened an Embassy to the UWO which is what Batman is referring to.
Because we know Batman wouldn't make that mistake. :)
International intrigue!!! My favorite kind of Batman adventure, usually written by Robert Kanigher, Denny O'Neil or Mike W. Barr. This looks like a classic Brave and the Bold tale!

Batman and Black Panther is one of those Marvel/DC crossovers I wonder why has never actually happened before, given how many things these two have in common. If the big two ever combine forces for some one-shots again I hope this is on top of the list!
Kid Kyoto beat me to the pedantic correction -- consulate, not embassy -- and came up with a reasonable explanation.
I do regret that Marvel & DC couldn't make an ongoing series with Access to make these kinds of crossovers a monthly thing. I know they tried, by way of Access (whom I still hold out hope to see somewhere in this blog... someday), but apparently his later stories didn't sell all that well. Otherwise I'm sure we would have been treated to many of the Marvel/DC team-ups that have been featured on this blog, and a few more besides -- like maybe Jade and Silver Surfer, Batman vs the Death-Throws, Harbinger and Majik... and, of course, Ambush Bug and Wolverine!
I'd like to see a three-way team up between Batman, the Black Panther, _and_ Luke Cage. Preferably, in his original "Hero For Hire" look!* You could even have them battling the DCU version of the Copperhead...as the newest leader of the Sons of the Serpent.
*That chain-belt was so awesomely badass. ;-D
Or, failing that, how about Batman and the GOTG vs. Darkseid and En Sabah Nur? You could call it...FOUR HORSEMEN OF APOKOLIPS!

So true, Sonofjack! Only i started reading those Bat titles in the early 1980s. I was regretably too late to catch a Haney tale, unless it was a back issue or reprint. Classics indeed!!!

Well, they did briefly meet & work together in the JLA/Avengers crossover...
