Hoppy the Marvel Bunny and Usagi Yojimbo
One thing that I liked about CC Beck's Shazam Family stories was the blurred line between super heroics and more cartoony funny animal comics. His whimsical yet exciting tone had room for characters like Tawky Tawny, Mr. Mind and Hoppy in addition to more traditional supporting characters and villains. Sure, there were some cartoony characters like Mr. Mxyzptlk, Bat-Mite, Itty, Zook and the rest in the DC titles, but they never quite fit in as well for me as the Shazam characters did.

Always good to see the Marvel Bunny. A nice match.
As pun-based titles go... this one made even me groan! (In a good way, though.)
Nice job overall!
I groaned as I typed it - that's how i knew it was a keeper!
I didn't think you could do it, Ross. But, you actually did.
You topped "Cranston Hears A Who!"
This is now, officially, your best pun-related cover, to date. Hands down/bar none/case closed. :-)
P.S. for those who don't know what I'm taking about? See STF #596.
Love this!
^_^
(it's a bit frustrating though: that's yet another comic that I'd like to read...)
Now that's a teamup (Not quite as good as my hoped for Duck Dodgers and Bucky O'Hare). Have you ever thought about Agatha Harkness and Captain Jack Harkness in "Terror At Torchwood"?
Love the cover.
I never thought of Itty as a "cartoony" character, though.
Love the cover.

Great pun and an awesome cover, Ross.
Since I've got action figures of both these characters, this is not the first time I've seen them side-by-side....
I would pay a lot of money for this to actually happen.
Hare, hare.
Costume-wise, a Hoppy and Flash team up could work well.
Rabbit and Run!
Since tomorrow is the 4th of July will you have a team up of patriotic heroes? You could have Captain America and Uncle Sam or a group that includes those two plus Miss America, Star Spangled Kid, American Maid, and The Shield.
Of course you could also star Usagi Yojimbo in "Luthor's Bad Hare Day."
Or Hoppy and the Terrific Whatzit! (Look him up.)
No need, BB. During the Silver Age, he was the grandfather of the Zoo Crew's Fastback!
