Batgirl and Miss Fury
Well, Jena Malone's character that was cut from the theatrical release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has finally been revealed, and it was not Barbara Gordon and many had speculated, but Jenet Klyburn. If I remember my comics, Jenet Klyburn had strong ties to S.T.A.R. Laboratories, so that could be an interesting angle for future films. Still, this leaves Batgirl available.. where will she show up? Aflleck's Batman is older with a new willingness to work with allies, so she could appear in a future Bat-film. My preference would be to bring her to the Supergirl TV series - I'd love to see the World's Finest heroines in action together.

I too would like be to see a Batgril (Barbara Gordon) on Supergirl but I suspect her usage in s tied to Fox's Gothsm TV show. I always loved the comics dynamic between Babs and Kara.
So would I, Ross. If only because Batgirl seems to work better on TV than in a feature film. As for Jenet Klyburn? I believe she was head of R&D at either the Metropolis or the NYC branch of S.T.A.R. Labs. I'll have to check my old "WHO"S WHO IN THE DCU '86" collection to be sure!
In the meantime; Happy 4th of July to you and yours! And be sure to keep those flags of creativity waving. :-)
Great images as always, where is that retro-looking Batgirl from?
Colleen Coover, Batman '66
Cool cover. Batgirl should appear on the Supergirl tv show. Is there a way to search through the previous issues such as an index or search engine?
I definitely be in favour of Batgirl appearing in Supergirl. By the way, great covers you make.
Anonymous, on the web version at least there is a labels list to the left containing characters and artist used, that's the easiest way to search.
Mateus, Thank you!
It doesn't look like you have ever done a cover featuring one of the longest lasting and most famous comic book characters ever: Mickey Mouse. I think he would pair perfectly with Spider-Man (because Disney owns Marvel). Or you could team him with Mighty Mouse, Catwoman, or Pinky & The Brain.
IIRC, Kent Klybern was promoted to the head of research at S.T.A.R. Labs after her boss was revealed as the Atomic Skull.
Not bad, Ross. Although, a reconciled Cap and Wonder Woman might've been more fitting for the 4th of July. Or, maybe even WW fighting with Batgirl and Ms. Fury over Cap!*
*Perhaps, with the DCU Copperhead running off, to join the Serpent Society, in the background.
I would love to see the original Black Cat join this pair someday.
Come to think of it, the original Black Cat versus Marvel's Black Cat would make for a great cover as well.
And if you ever do have a cover with Mickey Mouse, might I humbly suggest Mickey meets Howard the Duck....
Mickey Mouse and Spider-Ham, Mickey Mouse and Bart Simpson, Mickey Mouse and Superman, Mickey Mouse and Predator, Mickey Mouse and Star Wars.
Other Anonymous-es, Ross has filed his other Disney covers under Disney: https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/search/label/Disney?m=0
Ross, +1 for Mighty Mouse. You've only done him once before.
What about Nick Fury and Danger Mouse? "Eye for an eye"
@Martin - I don't think Barbara Gordon will be tied up with Gotham, considering the show killed her mother (Sarah Essen) before she was born.
On a completely separate topic, I'd like to see Mighty Mouse return to these pages. He teamed up with the Zoo Crew in STF #536; why not let him team up with Rocket Raccoon, Usagi Yojimbo, Darkwing Duck, the Road Rovers, or whomever else? Or maybe even pit him against Pinky and the Brain!
I thought he did Danger Mouse before but I don't see him listed. Maybe a Danger Mouse & Mickey Mouse team up since neither have been done. Or do those two and add Mighty Mouse, Speedy Gonzales, Jerry, Maus, Itchy, and Pixie & Dixie as a team.

Ur'rmm, in what version of continuity was Sarah Essen the mother -- rather than just the stepmother (or even the-second- wife-of-the-uncle-who-raised-her-after-her-parents-died) -- of Barbara?

Ross, while we're talking about Babs, how about a version of the Birds of Prey in which Oracle is the only DC-origin character? You could include Mockingbird (perhaps even in her earlier 'Huntress' identity) as the Marvelverse's contribution, maybe the original Black Cat (brought forwards through time during some "crisis", as Lady Blackhawk was by 'Zero Hour' in DC's pre-Flashpoint history), and 1-3 others...
