Iron Man and Green Arrow
The latest shake up for Iron Man is that he will be replaced in the role by a 15 year old girl that was recently introduced - Riri Williams. I guess I am supposed to be surprised by this move, but Marvel has done the same thing (place new character in the role of established hero as a "shocking twist", usually ending up with two heroes of the same name operating simultaneously) so many times over the past few years that it's beginning to get a little repetitive. I'm not sure is this is to have a new hero in place by the time Robert Downey Jr. retires from the cinematic version or not - I guess it will all depend on the popularity of the new Riri Williams Iron Man. It has also been announced that Victor Von Doom with be operating as Iron Man as well - but that looks to be for a shorter story line.

I remember an Iron Man Annual comic that had him and the Man-Thing battling Molecule Man's "son" in the body of a pre-adolescent Iron-fan girl! I wonder if this Riri will be her?
As to this cover? Was this inspired by the one featuring the first time Iron Man met Hawkeye?
Cool cover. How about a BLADE and GREEN ARROW team-up?
@ Cary: more likely, it's from the second time the early Silver Age JLA met Xotar the Weapons Master.
I pretty much gave up on the current state of both companies (with some exceptions) even though DC's clearly doing massive damage control that might actually pay off. That being said, this team-up would be very interesting on so many levels, especially since this GA is the pre-left wing warrior who forsook his family fortune. No doubt he'd give Stark a piece of his mind about being a weapons manufacturer and seller.
Iron Man is going to be a 15 year old girl ?
Unbelievable and just another reason I purchase no books published after 1989 !
How about making Bruce Jenner Batman and Richard Simmons the boy wonder ?
@Anonymous: if done on film, that might finally result in a POSITIVE review from movie critic Rex Reed!*
*Which would be a minor miracle, indeed.
Hi Ross. Do you remember from which story come Green Arrow and the giant hand? I'd be curious to get the original ref. Thanks!
From an early JLA issue
After this, Tony Stark invented the first document shredder.
That's a Kirby Arrow though, right? My guess before i saw your response was Adventure 258, entitled [something] Dimension X. Without looking it up, I'd say the Iron Man is from the cover of ToS 49 -- against the Angel.
No, it's Mike Sekowsky - from a JLA issue.
