Thor Vs. Sauron
If there is one superhero that would be right at home in Middle Earth, it would be Thor. He's got the wardrobe, the elevated speech patterns, the signature weapon, even the good sense to wear a helmet when going into battle. If only someone would give the movie Thor the helmet memo.

Good one. Made me think of Sauron with servants from the Black Lanterns or even the Marvel Zombies.

A Tolkein and Kirby mash-up works for me. Perhaps STAR WARS, too?
Incidentally, IDW has launched a four-issue miniseries inspired by Winos McCay's LITTLE NEMO, which actually made a guest appearance in an early '90s run of E-MAN. Any ideas?
Winos McCay? Was that Winsor's drunk uncle?
It would have been slightly more appropriate to have the Middle-earth Sauron take on...the X-MEN!
I can easily envision the former using the One Ring to take control of the N'Garai.
Thor would be at home ın the realm of Game of Thrones, too! How about sendıng hım, Shınıng Knıght (from All-Star Squadron) and Kıng Arthur or Hurcules there! Make ıt So, Ross!

Here's a thought. How about Sauron using his one ring to take control of the Green Lantern Corps through their rings?

There's a cover kinda sorta on those lines coming up...
This is something I never thought of before, but I love it as a concept. I could read like a giant comic book about these two. Thor in the world of the lotr series is genius.
