Silver Surfer and Starro

 

It will be interesting to see how the Shalla-Bal Silver Surfer is handles in Fantastic Four: First Steps. Will she survive the events of the movie, or will she make some grand sacrifice, paving the way for the classic Surfer from the comics? I guess we will all find out soon enough.

Fantastic Four and Power Girl

 She would make a formidable addition to the team!  Power Girl and She-Hulk have a history on this blg.  They first met in STF #1482, They faced the Psycho Pirate in STF#3743, and were last seen battling Mr. Universe in STF #4580...

Moon Knight and Hawk & Dove

Being the youngest of 5 boys in my family, I knew all about battling brothers growing up.  So the bickering between siblings that I read in their adventures rung true to me.  At least they still worked together in the en. Poor Moon Knight had to bicker between his own multiple personalities.

 

Banshee and Blue Devil Vs. Mongul

 

This marks the fourth appearance of the Cassidy Cousins.  They  faced their unlucky curse head on in STF #4414, They met up with their Uncle Ted in STF #4282, and first were featured together in STF #3875...

Genie and Shazzan

 

Hmm... have these two actually found a loophole or would this maneuver be against the Magic Genie Code of Conduct? Other than their freedom, what might they wish for?

Sub-Mariner and Blackhawk in: Crimes of the Killer Shark

 

It's good to see these two working together, after they were clearly at odds when they first met on this blog in STF #3855. I wouldn't want to be in the Killer Shark's flippers right now...

Mace Windu and Samurai Jack

 

As a fan of both Star Wars and the animation of Genndy Tartakovsky, I was intrigued when I learned he had turned his talents on to a galaxy far, far away.  I was finally able to watch Tartakovsky's Clone Wars series on MAX, and it did not disappoint.  They are worth checking out for the light saber battles alone.

Elongated Man and Ant-Man & The Wasp

 

I always enjoyed the backup tales featuring Ralph and Sue Dibny involved in a quick mystery.  Clever twists and cool stretching scenes made them a delight to read.  I can definitely see Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne joining in on of their investigations.

Green Lantern and Black Bolt

 

STF's greatest villain is back for his 9th appearance!  Can our heroes trust him, or are they due for a double-cross?  The answers are just 60 cents away...

Red Tornado and Storm

 

It looks like Reddy has reverted back to his original form for this tale.  It's nice to see him getting along with Ororo after they  had clashed in STF #2441, due to events that took place way back in STF #82...

Chewbacca and The Legion of Superheroes

 

I remember being excited to see the Muppet Show episode where Mark Hamill and characters from Star Wars appeared.  Chewbacca appeared without his ammunition strap so he looked kind of naked to me.  Still, it's one of the best Muppets episodes - the Pigs in Space sequence in this one is a masterpiece.

The Thing and Batman in: "March Of The Monster Men!"

 

Batman and The Thing are my favorite characters from from DC and Marvel, and they have met before in other Lost Issues -  They were trapped in the Microverse in STF #4192, They quarreled over Aunt Petunia in STF #3322... They had a boxing match in STF #2455... They faced a fiery situation in STF #554... They topped off an Anniversary Issue in STF #500... before that, They battled the Riddler/Trapster team... earlier, The Thing discovered the Bat Cave... and was handed control of The Outsiders... not to mention This Whole Blog... and finally, they first appeared together in one of my earliest covers...

Man-Wolf and Adam Strange

 

The latest rumors making the rounds say that Adam Strange is coming to the DCU, with Will Poulter being considered for the role.  I've long thought that The Character was ripe for live action treatment, so I hope these reports are true.  The Krypton tv series featured Adam Strange as a character, but I'd like to see a version more faithful to the comics.

Catwoman Vs. Mockingbird in: "Bobbi-Pinned!"

 

Aside from the natural cat/bird conflict, I think there would definitely be friction between these two.  as a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent, Bobbi Morse knows how to work with others and abide by a set of mission parameters - quite a contrast from Selina Kyle, a solo act who has no problem breaking the rules.

These two first crossed paths in STF #3652...

Jonah Hex and Data

 Who knows how the Chief Operations Officer of The Enterprise found his way to the old West, or how Hex will react in the next few seconds.  It would be fun to find out, though, and fun to see these two interact.

Kid Flash and The Young Allies

 

It looks like Wally West got his hands on the Cosmic Treadmill and found himself in a golden age adventure with wartime's greatest superhero sidekicks.  I'd read it!

Tigra and Starfire

 

I think that these two go well together. Both look great, with their sexy outfits and flowing hair - Both have been depicted as passionate in their relationships and fierce in a battle.  I'm surprised that I never thought to pair them with one another until now.

Superman is an Alien

 

It's good to see both of these movie franchises back on more solid footing.  James Gunn's Superman looks promising and Alien: Romulus is my favorite entry in that series since the first two movies.  It might have been cool to see a crossover back in the 80's.

All-Star Squadron Vs. Ultron

 

We've all seen Pym Particles being used for time travel by now - so who's to say that Hank Pym's deadliest creation could not get hold of some for some decades-spanning shenanigans? It might be cool to see how the Squadron reacts to the modern villain crashing their timeline.
