Wow, now that I see it, I realize how perfect a Starfire vs Firestar scene would've been. Gar as a giant spider fighting Spidey wouldn't have been so bad either. And it makes me see too how much better the original X-Men would've gotten along with the New or Original Teen Titans better than the New X-Men agewise (other than Sprite/Ariel). Oh and now I can't stop thinking of a Disney's Ariel team-up with X-Men's, lol. The Disney villian's obvious in that kimd of issue, but no clue which X-Men villain would fit well.Another cool alt. reality cover; glad you made it.
@my namesake: how about the Toad (trying to take both Ariels for a wild ride)?
It's funny you posted this, with all of the speculation over Sadie Sink and the "secret character" she's playing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Most people have been saying Jean Grey, but that seems like too safe an assumption for what's supposed to be some big secret. Others are saying Firestar, which is an interesting idea! Imagine getting her in live action on the big screen!
On another note, maybe someday we could get Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends with Batman and the Outsiders?
Maybe she'll be playing Princess Python.

Starfire and Firestar but where are Sun Fire and Red Star?
I'd also like to point out that the New Teen Titans new characters, Raven, Cyborg, and Starfire, were also all based on existing ones: Negative Man; Robotman; and the original Starfire respectably. All characters that Marv had a had in with his runs on the original runs of Doom Patrol and Teen Titans.
Of course NTT was the magazine that revived DC after the Implosion and heavily inspired by the new X-Men itself inspired by Legion of Superheroes - the companies leapfrogging over each other for new audiences/age groups to appeal to.
I've always wondered if Firestar was a clone of Starfire or if she was revived for Amazing Friends because of Starfire's new found popularity.

Can you do a team of the most obscure characters in comics? I have a couple of issues of Captain Flash and then there was The Keeper of Time.
