Denny Colt is known for getting himself out of tough situations, but he may have met his match here. Let's hope that he can convince the jade giant to work with him against a common enemy!

And who might that enemy be? The Rhino and the Octopus? Jen Walters and Chief Dolan's daughter pheromonally brainwashed by the Mandrill? Such endless possibilities! :-)
I can just imagine the word balloons Will Eisner would've employed for this scene within the covers.
Ellen Dolan: "How can we stop him from charging?"
The Spirit: "Take away his credit card?"
My vote for the common foe would be the Leader; he seems like he'd be just as appropriate for the Spirit as he is for the Hulk, though in different ways.
The Spirit meets The Phantom? Or either meets Space Ghost?
Or Space Ghost meets The Spectre?
Or the Phantom meets Intergalactic Ninja Zen (using images from Charlton's THE PHANTOM #49, copyright Apr. 1972).
Colt went against the Thing...this Banner day follows! How about Mirror Master confronts Hulk?
Ross might need more time to reflect on that.
