Bugs Bunny dug his way into a lot of interesting locales in the cartoons that I watched and enjoyed as a kid. It might have been fun to see him find himself smack dab in the middle of of Tolkein's world. Sauron wouldn't know what hit him.

How about Bugs winding up in the Siimpsons’ Springfield at the stadium of the Springfield Isotopes (which once were threatening to move to Albuquerque).
He should have taken that left turn at Albuquerque.
