Captain Marvel is no stranger to talking animals as allies, and has his own roster of bizarre villains, so a team up with Howard The Duck wouldn't seem all that out of place for him. I think that a writer could have a lot of fun telling this tale.

Captain Marvel and Howard the Duck

All too true, Ross. Why, just the sequence where the two super-villains first meet would be a hoot! :-)
"Mr. Mind? Dr. Bong. You've no doubt heard of me."
"No, I'm afraid that name doesn't ring a bell."
I'd love to see a Howard the Duck/Tawky Tawny team-up- I think those two would have a lot in common, despite their personality differences. (is there a reason why there's no label for Howard for this issue?)
And... I never realized it before, but Mr. Mind would make a great Howard the Duck villain. The whole cover and concept is brilliant.
"Doctor Bong". I think I knew him at college.
I'm with Alaric; I'd think that Howard and Tawky would be a fairly natural pairing. I actually expected Tawky to be a part of today's cover (and, likely, he'd at least make a cameo in the story inside).
Mr Mind: Dr. Bong? I'm afraid you're reputation has gone up in smoke!
Good one! :-)
Of course, Dr. Bong would probably retaliate by calling him an unfunny little worm.
I agree with comment on Howard and Tawky team up but add Looney Leo from Astro City.
Mr. Tawny was obviously abducted and brainwashed by Kraven the Hunter to help him and the Trickster.
Classic Howard the Duck. I liked the recent series but this is the true Howard. How about a sequel with Captain Marvel meeting Man-Thing?
I ALWAYS THOUGHT MR. MIND WAS TAILOR MADE FOR A FISHERMAN TEAM UP AGAINST MARINNA AND FATHOM (OF THE 80S BILL W. ELEMENTALS TEAM). I CAN JUST SEE HIM SWINGING ON THAT HOOK LIKE HE OWNED IT.
How about Mr. Mind working with the Fisherman (Aqua-foe) against Namor the Submariner?
