I was more a fan of traditional superhero fare than I was of sword and sandals epics like Conan. Still, his stories seemed to attract some of the greatest artists in the industry. That was enough for me to want to check out an adventure here and there. John Buscema and others truly created some gorgeous artwork when contributing to the genre.

Conan teaming up with a sorcerer? What would cause him to do that? He really dislikes magic? I think this would make an interesting story.
“He really dislikes magic “ was not meant as a question.
How about Conan and Xena? Xena could try to go back in time to save Conan because Conan needs to continue Xena’s family tree as her ancestor.
@Anon659: that could work. Especially if Ross were to use image captures from the 1992 Conan cartoon series (a Jetlag/Sunbow co-production) and the 1998 Xena/Hercules animated feature "Battle For Mt. Olympus"!
@Ross: if, however, that doesn't prove feasible, I'd be willing to settle for Conan and Iron Man meeting Arya Stark.
@Anon621: maybe Conan is trying to get back to the Hyborian Age via the House of Mystery. Having grown bored with Las Vegas of the 21st century AD.
I see this as a slightly-misleading cover, with the actual story involving Conan teaming with a much earlier host of Nabu during the Hyborean Age, perhaps with a modern-day Dr. Fate framing story.
I suspect this is second part of story with them fighting at first before Dr. Fate convinces Conan he is not the foe causing his problems.
He did team up with one out of desperation once (in Conan the Avenger) when his wife was kidnapped by a different sorcerer in the Far East, and this sorcerer did owe him a big favor from a previous story. Though granted this story wasn't written by Howard himself it was still made official canon in the 1960s, so he knows how to team up with one if he feels the need to do so.
This is one of your better integrations. You'd think they came from the same image.
The only wizard who might fit that bill is Dakimh the Enchanter. He was the last apprentice of Sorceress Zhered-Na, at the time of the Atlantean Cataclysm, in the mainstream Marvel Universe. So, in the Ross-verse, he might have been the one who who magically mentored Nabu!
Arrrgh! That should've read "...Sorceress Supreme Zhered-Na." I extremely dislike having to double-check Spellchecker.
I was going to request Daredevil entering the House of Mystery. But, I see you've already done that, twice before.
@Anon244: would you settle for DD finally escaping from that cage that Saturn Girl put him in, just over a year ago?
a style cover after J.L.A.#2 of the 60s. Nice. Imagine doing a monster's nails!! The stories they could tell... like Godzilla vs Buggs Bunny!!
Although, I don't Big G would appreciate getting the same dynamite hair-do as that Sasquatch with the tennis shoes. The one called Rudolf (who apparently loved spider goulash)?
Btw: which Dr. Fate is this? Kent Nelson or Erica Strauss?
Actually the character you're referring to is named "Gossamer"
But, in his second classic WB appearance, he was canonically referred to as "Rudolph" (by the bald scientist looking to use Bugs' brain for his pet robot's activation).
