Blind Justice in: "When Destiny Calls!"

For the second outing featuring this team of sightless heroes, I thought that I would have them run into a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants who uses a different type of vision.  But just what does she see in the group's future? Blind Justice first appeared in STF #2290...

Will Mr. E join one day ?

Oh yeah, I forgot about him.

@Anon616: Good one! :-) Good choice of posting time, too.

@Ross: Brilliant decision to add Destiny. "Irenie Adler" might be an alias she derived from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. But, that might simply be yet another way to hide the fact (in the mainstream Marvel Universe) that she and Madame Webb are identical twins!

I know, I know. Nothing has ever been canonically stated in print by any of Marvel's comic books. But, think about it. Two blind mutants with the psionic powers of clairvoyance and/or precognition (aka "second sight")? More than coincidence, methinks.

Awesome! It renews my hope that, one day, you might be able to simulate the anime hero Marine Boy meeting the H-B version of Moby Dick.

Rutger Hauer's character from the movie Blind Fury could be on a TV or some other monitor. They all may not be able to see it but that does not mean some could not sense it.

Maybe Doctor Mid-Nite (Charles McNider) will not be available in next group and one of his replacement Doctor Mid-Nites (Dr. Elizabeth "Beth" Chapel or Dr. Pieter Anton Cross) can be substituted if you can find images which fit.

Not aware who I ching is

It looks like the guy in the suit is really "I-ching" for a fight.... #BadPunNoCookie

But it occurs to me that he's the only member of this group with no live-action counterpart. Such a barrier for "Blind Justice: The Motion Picture."

BOB, MAYBE THE LIVE ACTION FILM PLOT INVOLVES THE REST OF THE TEAM LOOKING FOR HIM. MAYBE PROF. OJO HAS HIM. ALSO WASN'T THE CARTOON TRI-CLOPS (HE-MAN AND TMOFU) BLIND WITHOUT HIS HELMET/VISOR? THE 10 EYED MAN COULD ALSO BE WORKED INTO THIS CONCEPT.

Maybe the cartoon version of Jumanji could be threatened by Venger of the cartoon version of Dungeons & Dragons.

Rot Lop Fan needs to join.

He was Diana Prince's mentor, companion, and martial arts teacher during the period (1968-1972) when she was without her Amazon powers.

Their next appearance should team them up with Nick Fury. Tag line? "In the Kingdom of the Blind, the One-eyed Man is Head Honcho."

I don't think Ross has enough room on his cover-sims for that one.

I Ching also turned up, more recently, as a mentor to the [Chinese] 'New Superman'.

eye think I Ching was live on tv. CW most likely. Been a while since he was on.

i find it hard to believe M. Webb has no pupils l...like Prof. X!!

I find it hard to believe Geordi LaForge isn't serving as this team's liaison to Cyclops, Megaton Man, the Silver Age Dr. Solar, and the Golden Age Comet. Aka...the Super Visors!

@my namesake: More infamously known as "The Ill-advised Mrs. Peel Imitation Phase."

Would only wearing goggles disqualify Plastic Man from being one of the Super Visors?

Chirrut Îmwe seems like a possible addition to this group.

No, Madame Web... Destiny said a Toph Challenge ahead. Wording is important in prophecy.

Carycomic said...

Please, Marc; let's exhibit some Topher Grace under pressure.

Carycomic: I find it hard to believe you left Frozone out of the Super Visors.
