These two space-faring heroes my not be as well known as some others, but I always enjoyed their appearances. They have two examples of awesome costumes as well, one simple yet effective, the other complex but cool in its own way.

It goes without saying that Prince Gavin was designed by Steve Ditko... I only mention it because his costume design was always brilliant. From Spider-Man to Dr. Strange and The Question. It's just a shame that his Starman didn't catch on. It's also a shame that Prince Gavin and Will Peyton were later "merged"...
Well, think of it this way, Dave. After escaping from the Stranger's Lab World (in QUASAR v.1/#16), the Will Payton Starman wound up in the Rossverse. Reverting to Prince Gavin in the process! And he's been here, ever since, periodically helping spacefarers like JOH.
P.S. @ Ross: great name you dreamed up for that monster. The King would've loved it! :-)
May I suggest Space Ghost and Superman? Squirrel Girl and Secret Squirrel? The Legion of Superheroes and The Jetsons? Apologies if these are all a little weird, i've been reading DC's Scooby Doo Team-Uo, and now I have Hanna Barbera on the mind.
Oh! I'd love to see Jonny Quest and The Fantastic Four, too! Or Hong Kong Phooey with Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
How about Magnus and the Jetsons (2017), with Roses the human-minded robot.
I mean Rosey.
This may be a bit out of left field, but has Gorgonax appeared before around here? The name's familiar for some reason.
Oh, and I'll second Shamus' suggestion of Hong Kong Phooey with the Heroes for Hire.
He had a red suit in Ditko’s original design. Did Ditko come up with the blue suit?
When did Starlin draw or work on the Jack of Hearts and what is this dinosaur they're fighting, he's uglier than Kirby's Devil Dinosaur.
Never thought of Jack of Hearts as space hero seeing him only on Avengers or some team up book but it works. Waiting for his step sister Queen of Diamonds.
The Ditko costumes which are impossible to get out of unless special material or magic not work for me but Starman's does.
@Shamus I think he's done Jonny Quest and the Fantastic Four already, hasn't he?
Starman has been thru a lot. As for Jack, meet Ace of the Challengers of the Unknown. Some potentials there!
I'd love to see Mightor and Ka-Zar!
Shamus, Superman and space ghost have met on the blog. Bob, yes this is the first appearance of Gorgonax on the blog.
You're probably thinking of that STAR WARS monster. Gorax, from those made-for-TV Ewok prequels.
I'd say "Yeah, perhaps; during the early 2000's."
Have always loved Jack-of-Hearts and you’re right… he blends nicely with Starman. Another superb cover.
His mother was from an E.T. race known as the Contraxians. And, personally? I hope to see her son team eventually team up with Sora and Mickey Mouse in a story called..."Jack of Kingdom Hearts!"
Maybe he's the love-child of Garguax (Doom Patrol enemy) and Gorgona (FemForce foe)?
He might have done some of the cover art for that Rann-Thanagar War limited series at DC (which featured the Will Payton and Prince Gavin Starmen).
I always thought that Kirby's Devil Dinosaur was ugly but this Kirby-saur IS ugly.
He's a beauty pageant winner compared to Wonder Woman foe, Medusa (the real Gorgon).
