The Sandman on Netflix has been renewed for another season, and I look forward to seeing more of Neil Gaiman's tales adapted for live action. I hope to see more of Cain & Abel and their Houses of Mystery and Secrets, I enjoyed their appearances in the first season.
This is the second appearance of The Graveyard Shift. They first appeared in STF #3290...

What scares the non dead(?), having to be limited in what they can do or go to. Very nice. Can't destroy the House so pay your taxes, have quiet parties and be hopeful that you can win the next "S P E L L ing conest" in your area.
So, basically, they're "un-Abel" to leave?*
*Starts passing out cookies and milk to everyone.
I just started watching Ghosts on BBC/HBO Max and the thought of ghosts only being able to talk to each other for hundreds of years is unnerving.
The thought of a ghost resembling their penultimate state for eternity (a la the CBS sit-com) is even more unnerving!
@Tobor: Clearly, you didn't do so well at that contest.
@Cary: Keep some cookies for yourself.
@Ross: Perhaps in a future appearance, Ghoul (from Malibu Comics) can join this group.
@Bob: why not? i'll bet Ghoul's been waiting an Eternity to make a Bravura performance. ;-)
Just one month til issue 3900! That'll be like getting an early Christmas present.
P.S. @ Bob: those puns were an in-joke reference to Malibu's former imprints.
I didn't recognize them, but I guessed that it was something like that.
Bob, i never was any good with t ests. Had to keep a pet spelling bee to help me.
That's why i never try to wing it on xams.
What beats me is why it so long a "spell" to debut the House of Secrets, here.
@Anon728: Gimme a B! Gimme an O! Gimme another O!
What's that spell? BOO! Get the hook!
No Mr. Bones?
@Glenn: He's on Eternia posing as Skeletor.
So, let me see if I have this straight. Dawnstar needed Shaman's help for something in the 31st century (@STF #3745). And Shaman realized he needed Deadman's help (@ #2840). But Deadman was stuck with the rest of the Graveyard Shift (@ #3870). And the effort it took to extract just him alerted the mischievous Scarlet Witch (@ #3870)! Hence, a temporary fusion with Wolverine (@ yesterday's cover) before being assigned--by Rama Kushna--with aiding Chance Falconer.
Hah! Serves you right, know-it all. :P
Deadman was splintered by SW @ STF #3863!
