The strongest character designs are those that even look impressive from the back. Jack Kirby was such a master at creating costumes and armor that his creations looked great at any angle.
Doctor Doom and The Demon first crossed paths way back in STF #739...

Is Doc interested in destroying Demon or just imprisoning him? Yeah, he has an ego to think he could control Demon like Merlin did. Could he, correctly?
O Storyteller, storyteller what plans do you have for he?
And, on behalf of Man of Nerdology, I reactivate his request from STF #739. :-)
P.S. @ Tobor: I think Etrigan's word balloons provide sufficient explanation thereto. Simply re-read them for yourself and you'll see it's true!*
*To which Harley Quinn would doubtless reply: "There were two guys from Nantucket..."
And Deadpool would respond: "Me and that Forbush guy with his head in a bucket."
@Tobor: I think Vic's just trying to get past Etrigan, who is blocking his way.
@Cary: I'd love to see Deadpool and the Demon paired up. I can just imagine the former saying something like, "Etrigan, knock it off with the rhyme! I'd love to join in, but we just don't have time!"
@Ross: Consider this: Shadowcat, the Vision, Phantom Girl, Martian Manhunter, and Ghost (Dark Horse). They are: The Untouchables!
Bob, Deadpool has met Etrigan on the blog - https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2018/04/the-demon-vs-deadpool.html
And on that cover we see Cary's joke already posted.
I hope you can find a good excuse to do my gag (even if it's with someone more straight-laced, like Nick Fury or Daredevil).
PS: I just read that Albert Pyun, who directed (among other things) the 1990 Captain America movie starring Matt Salinger in the title role, has passed away. In honor of that, dropping Salinger's Cap into one of Pyun's other films might be in order; or, failing that, teaming him up with Dean Cain's Superman.
(Thought I'm still most eager to see a Reb Brown/Cathy Lee Crosby pairing.)
@Bob Greenwade (re: Etrigan and Deadpool): that's precisely why I made that allusion---Cary
@Carycomic: Scott Bakula should star in a movie of your life, with screenplay by Clive Barker: "Lord of Allusions."
P.S.---how much you wanna bet that Dr. Doom is going to draw a hi-tech squirt gun filled with holy water?
@Anon240: posed as he is, like Gary Cooper from HIGH NOON, I'd like to see Dr. Doom someday go up against...John Wick.
