The one thing that that bothers me about the death of The Black Widow in the MCU is that it eliminates one team up I had been hoping to see. Now that Daredevil is in the fold and getting his owns series on Disney+, I was really hoping we would see some action with DD and the Widow side by side. I loved the era in the comics when she was Daredevil's partner, and even shared logo space on the cover. It would have been great to seen an episode of Daredevil: Born Again pay homage to those classic tales.

Ah! The good old days when GI JOE was a Marvel publication. A confrontation between these two ladies would have been so much easier!
Now, though, Marvel would have to carefully arrange things with Hasbro and IDW, both.
Not at all. Just do it at a halloween party. Makes it much easier.
Since Yelena Belova is now the MCU's Black Widow, she could still show up on Daredevil: Born Again (or even Echo). I know it's not the same as Natasha, as Yelena has a more eccentric personality, but at least it's something.
They have the multiverse. There's no reason why Scarlett Johansson could return as a multiverse variant Black Widow. Plus with Kang, they have time travel so the regular MCU version could still appear.
I bet they share some screen time in a future episode of What If?
@Anonymous1156: *couldn't (I'm assuming!:)
In movies, there is almost always a way to undo death if the money is right. It's even easier in comics.
"A soul for a soul. That's the deal, right?" Steve Rogers upon returning the Soul stone.
I could see the Chrie Evans version of Cap doing that. Now being age 100, in the post-Blip MCU, he'd probably have Dr. Strange either teleport him, directly, to the Soul Stone's home world; or have the latter persuade America Chavez to do so. There, he'd sacrifice his own life in the hopes of reuniting with Peggy Carter (who, in the altered time-line, evidently became Mrs. Rogers prior to predeceasing Steve).
@Anon@12:31: I'd find that highly doubtful. Steve's had his happy ending, and I don't think he'd mess with success like that, especially considering how much trouble it would require and how much more it could cause.
No, 616 Natasha's story has had its bittersweet conclusion. I'd look forward to seeing alternate versions on What If...?, Loki, and other projects -- especially the variant who was a Guardian of the Multiverse -- but the main one is done.
I loved the DD&BW era, too.
