I don't read many current comics these days - the overall quality seems to have dropped and Amazon's takeover (and in my opinion, destruction) of Comixology has turned me off of new purchases recently. One series that I did check out, and quite liked, has been The Terrifics. It's just old school comic book action with a great cast of characters. The series has come to an end, but I hope the team hasn't.

Whoa! For a second, I'd forgotten about this particular super-group...and was picturing _The Incredibles_ vs. Doc Doom!!
"Sorry about that, Chief."
P.S.---I am not a doombot. ;-)
This looks like it'd be a great story. Nearly nothing about the plot is hinted at on this cover, but I'd still be interested in reading it.
It also occurs to me that maybe it's time for a reunion of the Magnificent Misters, but with their teams in tow. That might have to wait for #3800 or #3900, though, unless the foe they're dealing with is someone on the order of the Borg.
I wonder if Metamorpho will ever go up against the Elements of Doom?
I always liked the stories where Doom had to deal with opponents whom he deemed beneath his stature,(which was just about everyone, I get it.) and it became a delicious story of cat and mouse. But I'm not up on how many times the Doom-bots were used.
I'm sure they came in handy to explain how he was present in more than one place at a time. And maybe give an account on how he made it back from his eternal reward?
Maybe Doom will be harassed by Scooby and the gang sometime!
Ross, I have to agree with your statement that the quality of comics has fallen. I don't know what the companies are thinking, because the drop in sale have to be noticed by them. They are poisoning their cash crop. I've taken to reading mostly older comics, though I have to hope that the comic companies will restore sanity to their stories so people will buy comics again.

Ross, i must agree about your sentiments about the current state of comics....
but think that a drop-off in sales won't do anything to reverse the trend, the physical comic books are not where the current money is being made...
it is in the merchandising of the characters for cinema and TV and everything else where the companies are making their money....
today cover o Dr. Doom facing off against DC's quasi Fantastic Four stand-ins is a winner....
much love for the Terrifics' short-lived comic....
The Terrifics and other FF-like teams such as the UFOes, could make for an interesting cover.....
just a last minute idea.....
Ross, I agree that current comics are garbage. Publishers are too busy with woke nonsense and pandering to a very small percentage of society that insists on representation. They turned classic characters gay in hopes of grooming impressionable children but kids don't really read comics anymore.
in checking it seems you have never used any characters or images from Top Cow's comic Freshmen....
any particular reason?????
Ken Roskos is right! Scooby and the gang need to unmask Doom! Just to confuse the hell out of him (and them). (Would it be a robot?)
If the companies think by changing some of the casts they can increase readers by hugh numbers, and not have to work on writing quality, should they put in the revolving doors now or just the chutes to the dungeons?
Jack-El: Probably because I have never heard of them.
I think Anon936 hit the nail on the head, and the saddest/funniest part is that the woke weirdos they're trying to appeal to will probably never read their stuff anyway.
Ross,
Sorry to hear you aren't reading as many comics these days.
I've been logging in WAY too many hours enjoying the comics of my youth as well as current stories. https://readcomiconline.li/
Now, a warning. Do not try to use these with a tablet or your phone. Computer/browser only, and make sure you have an ad blocker extension (I recommend uBlock Origin - it's top rated and free). I use it on all my browsers. Using the ad block, you see no ads. Without the ad blocker...eek!
How to use the website: in the top search box, type something you're searching for, such as doctor strange, then hit Enter. You will get a block of covers of various runs of Doctor Strange. Hover your mouse over the covers and it will tell you what issues/years are covered. Click the one you want, get to that page, then scroll down to the listing and select the issue you want. At the top of the page pick High Quality for the Quality and All pages for the Reading Type.
I've read everything from Golden Age Captain Marvel to last week's Thor, and everything in between. For example, they have all 65 issues of the Golden Age Black Cat Comics.
Enjoy!
Thanks, Reg! Maybe I can find WOTI #'s 5 and 6, from Red Anvil, there.
;-( Sadly, they only have up to issue #4.
Figures!
P.S.---if the real Lord of Latveria underwent the MODOK treatment, would that make him...MODOOM?
@Anon1203: no. JUST NO!
I'd rather see The Incredibles vs. Dr. Doom.
