Doom Patrol and The Avengers

I'm looking forward to the fourth (and presumably final) season of Doom Patrol on HBO Max, but I am hoping for a little more character development.  The characters all seem to be running in place, still pretty much dealing with the same personal issues that they have been since the first episode.  It can get a bit mopey at times, so I hope this is the season that they all finally come to terms with themselves and become more confident as a team.

Title is better than DOA via MVD. Shame you couldn't have included Metamorpho here.
Is that the Absorbing Man making a scene again? It's time - match him against the Inferior Five. Absorb all those weaknesses? It will serve him right.

that looks just like metamorpho controlled by mad thinker have dc thinker battle him

Nice job jumbling the characters around the page! They really look like they were drawn that way.

@Tobor: I think it's supposed to be the Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man! But, if so, he's either in an all-mineral state (diamond, granite, and presumably lava). Or the animal third of him is a combination of whale and gorilla, while his legs have turned into melted butter-wort.

To spare everyone else any further mental groans, I'll go with the first hypothesis.

@Cary & my fellow Anonymous: actually, I think it's supposed to be Crusher Creel after touching AVM in that three-part state. Perhaps even after getting his power back (post-STF #3711)!

@Anon Numero Dos: yeah, now that you mention it, that would explain the lack of white hair compared to his last two depictions, here.

Cool picture. I believe that is the Mad Thinker on the Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man's shoulder. The AVM Man has not got a lot of use by DC Comics. I know his name is a mouthful, but I think he'd make a formidable foe for any hero to go against. I'm surprised he wasn't in the Secret Society of Super-Villains or even the Suicide Squad. Quite a missed opportunity in my opinion.

Ah, the AVM Man. He could never really get it together, but I still looked up to him.

@Anon1240: you're right! That must mean it's actually the Amazing Android imitating AVM's power!!

that is not the animal-vegetable-mineral man, but actually Mr. 103, who was another Doom Patrol bad guy, but even more obscure then AVM was....
great use of all the ELEMENTS here, Ross....
bad pun cookie time?????

@Jack-El: Good catch! That's exactly who it is. Although, wouldn't he technically be Mr. 118, by this point?

P.S. @ Ross: just idly curious. Shouldn't there be a search parameter marked "Black Panther" at the bottom? I mean, that is the back of T'Challa's head in the left lower foreground. Isn't it?

I reached my character limit, and it's only a back view

But, so was the image of BP @ STF #3704. Just saying.
