Daredevil and Elongated Man

The Brave and The Bold was my favorite comic series growing up, and one of my favorite issues was #177, so I am glad to present my own spin on the cover to that story here.  Elongated Man had always been a top hero of mine and here he was taken seriously as an equal to Batman as they solve a mystery together.  Plus, thanks to the  amazing artwork of Jim Aparo, in my opinion he's never looked better in a story before or since. All that plus a cool Nemesis back up tale!  They just don't make them like that anymore.

Ah, I just went back to readcomiconline and re-read that issue. A classic (always loved Aparo's work). Man, I miss the original utility belt! What's going on with the coloring in that issue, though?! Page 14, with Ralph's hair colored blond - he almost looked like the Nemesis, who appears later in that same issue!

Who's the heavy in this one?

one would assume that the "heavy" would be the guy trying to kill Daredevil by using Elongated Man as a noose, duh!!!!!
great use of both original covers to create your mashup, Ross....

that would be The Hangman from the Hangman's Club, a one off villain i do believe....

@Emsley Wyatt: ergo, neither Harlan Krueger (one-time foe of both Werewolf-by-Night and Jessica "the original Spider-woman" Drew) nor the MLJ Golden Age vigilante-turned-Silver Age super-foe of the Mighty Crusaders.

I wonder if Ralph and Matt were investigating the mystery of Ralph's missing regular partner (Marc Spector)?

@Anon@8:50: Good call. I kind of wonder the same thing.

Aside: In the upcoming She-Hulk: Attorney at Law series, I'm really hoping to hear the phrase "really good lawyer."

No. Just no.

That would be worse than hearing Jason Mamoa exclaim "Outrageous!"
