Silver Surfer and Thundarr the Barbarian

I still think that Keanu Reeves would be a good choice to play The Silver Surfer, but he may think that the role is too similar to the part he played in The Day The Earth Stood Still.  The role will require an actor that can be emotive while stoic, it's all about the voice.  Galactus will most likely largely be a product of CGI, so the performer's voice will be paramount there as well.  I haven't heard a peep about either character actually showing up in the MCU yet, so I'm guessing that Marvel still has a few years to cast these roles.

Wouldn't 2 emotive while stoic voice actors be a bit underplaying? Maybe Galactus could go back to an undeveloped planet for a summer vacation?

Seeing Thundarr and friends here got me wondering about how many post-apocalyptic characters could be mashed up into a single cover. This trio has already met Kamandi; maybe all four could meet Mad Max on the Planet of the Apes, or something.

First off? I love how you blended the 1967 H-B renditions of Galactus and the Silver Surfer with Thundarr, Ookla and Ariel from the 1980's. And I'm equally sure the late, great Messrs. Ruby and Spears would be honored and proud to have you immortalize their work this way!

Secondly? Keanu Reeves might be a good choice for the mo-cap silhouette of Norrin Radd. But, I think Laurence Fishbourne would be more ideal with regard to doing a reprise of his voice-over from FF2.

Let the pros and cons commence.

I'm not really a fan of sword and sorcery or post apocalyptic times. Thundarr was just not there for me. That said, the idea that Galactus could be back for "seconds"? That boggles the mind. OK, the first time might have been interrupted as he was converting mass to energy. But as he travels, how often would he go back on his trail if he drained what he could the first time? Why would he go back on his travel path?
Maybe this would be worth a story of its own?

Just occurred to me: Eradicator vs. Daleks.

"Exterminate!"
"No -- Eradicate!"

@Bob Greenwade: GOOD ONE! :-)

Seriously, though, Bob: were you referring to the one-time Flash foe? Or the post-COIE Superman foe?
