The Grey Gargoyle was a cool villain, if only because imagining being turned to stone was a frightening prospect to me as a young comics reader. I did have one question about his costume, though. It was cool that he appeared to be made of or at least covered with stone, but the cape confused me. It appeared to fold and flow like normal cloth. It seemed to me that it should have been at least somewhat rigid (or not included at all).

@Ross: you mean, you've never heard of "sheet rock?"
Seriously, though: Maybe it _was_ normal cloth. Just spray-painted with gray stucco paint.
You mean you never heard of a wolf in the "fold"? If Batman's cape could temporarily become stiff enough to support him in gliding thru the sky then go back to "normal", G.G. could have the same inventive tailor.
By the way, how's Gray Gargoyle vs Cyborg Superman sound? Just don't be in the collateral damage area then.
Sometimes the folks at comics companies think more in terms of making interesting visuals than making logical sense. For that matter, logic often flies out the window altogether.
And never mind Gray Gargoyle vs. Cyborg Superman; what about Grey Gargoyle vs. Gargoyles?
And another Gargoyles idea, albeit a very unlikely one to be possible (for lack of fitting images): joining the Simpsons for TV night.
thought about Gray vs Gargoyles, but it was too obvious a suggestion. But joining the Simpsons for TV night? Tree house of Horror!!Bartman!
Or Bartman and Radio-Active man vs. the Gray Gargoyle in...
"Springfield's Finest!"
How bout a "Bucket Head Brigade? Featuring Nova, Doctor Fate, Ant-man, DC's Guardian, etc.
Also it would be cool to see a Nova Corps vs Green Lantern Corps.
@Tom Brennan: With Forbush Man and the Golden Age Red Tornado as liaisons between them and the Union Suit Squad.
@Anon1259: Whoa! That's really reaching back into the Ross-verse.
I mean, the Fat Fury alone met Ben Grimm a good three months _before_ Batmite and Impossible Man had even thought of consolidating the "Lost Issue" universes of TB-&-TB and MTIO!
As I mentioned when the group made its debut, the Union Suit Squad really needs for Captain Klutz to join their ranks.

The terms "needs" and "Captain Klutz" are not ones that I am accustomed to seeing together. :D
@Simreeve: Acknowledged. :)
Captain Klutz and Diaper Man (from The Mighty Heroes) might make a more age-appropriate team-up.
@Anonymous: one doesn't often hear "Diaper Man" and "age-appropriate" in the same sentence, either.
;-)
@Cary & Anon: How about Diaper Man and Baby Herman?
I don't know about Cary. But, I think that'd be just ducky.
wouldn't Whirlwind from tomorrow's cover fit in with the Bucket Head Brigade????
@Anonymous1202: *GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAN!*
Great cover! Nova fits right in with DC characters.
I wonder if Amazo would be able to assimilate Nova and the Grey Gargoyle's powers?
