Captain America and Aquaman

An image of Jason Momoa's Stealth Suit from Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has been released, and it looks pretty cool to me.  It seems tp be inspired by the blue suit that Aquaman wore in his 1986 mini-series.  That look didn't last very long, but I remember liking it, and I am glad to see a nod to it here.  There's been a shot released of Momoa in the classic Aquaman garb as well, I'm glad that will also be back as it looks great on him.

Wow Is that a Kirby Aquaman? Don't recognize where it's from. So Cap can withstand the pressures of the deep? Interesting. Quite a sea sled he has. Power to provide air and light with a design that could take the water and convert it for a source of movement.
nice combo too.

Probably designed by Tony Stark...and modeled after Arnim Zola.

More like the Silver Surfer's old playmate, Quasimodo.

That's a Kirby/Theakston Aquaman from Super Powers.

I had a hunch you'd say that!

P.S.---that sea monster is either a robot or a submersible cyborg. Because a flesh-and-blood sea monster wouldn't have port holes (see just below the right wing)!

Actually, they look like three of Xu Wenwu's ten rings. Speaking of which...I finally got to see SHANG-CHI, this past weekend. Not bad!

There was an inevitable bit of rewriting, of course. Making the title character's back story seem like a partial amalgamation with Iron Fist's comic book origin. But, on the whole, I wouldn't give it less than nine stars, at worst.

Thanks Ross. And Anon, Zemo's people experiment on anything they can get their hands on. Probably conditioned the sea beast to reject any coaxing from Arthur.

I probably would be super-excited for the new Aquaman film if it didn't excuse domestic violence with the inclusion of Amber Heard (whose continued casting is described by producer Peter Safran as "what's right for the film").

Which domestic violence? The stuff allegedly directed at her by Depp? Or vice-versa?

Pretty sure her inclusion wouldn't be controversial if she was the victim.

BTW *Momoa

@Anon@10:41: If nothing else, the stuff she's been caught on tape admitting that she did against Johnny. (Never mind the numerous lies she's been documented on.)

I "heard" that. ;-)
