We finally see the reason Shellhead has been spending some time in the Star Wars era. Iron Man previously met Han Solo, and later on, Chewbacca, but that was with his original armor. We see him here in my personal favorite suit - one can only imagine what kind of tech Tony Stark would come up with after having some time to examine droids!

I'm going to go out on a limb here (robotic of course) and say that this is where we discover yet another STF family connection. It's clear that - whether Tony acknowledges it or not - C3PO will spot the family resemblance...and realise he is Iron Man's great-to-the-n grandchild.
I thought Star Wars took place a long time ago... in a galaxy far, far away.
Then again, this is the STF Universe...
Kang could be looking to change the outcome of the (Iaco) Stark Hyperspace War. What some of the Old Republic Jedi have often called "the last great military conflict before the Clone Wars."
Ah, yes -- another chapter in the Kang/Time Trapper War! (Even though we've seen very little of the latter; it seems to me that he'd be a good Doctor Who villain, for the 7th and 10th as well as the 4th.)
@Other Bob: "Future" in the title could refer to Tony's starting point, rather than his arrival point.
PS: A discussion on Facebook made me realize how much I miss the Harley Quinn/Doc Samson rivalry.
I’m pretty sure Kang is the Future Menace of the title
Actually, I was responding not to the title, but to Davejonz's mention of a "family resemblance."
And while we're still on a Star Wars page... how about dropping Elvis Presley into the mix? It could be an explanation of where he really went when he "died" -- or, with a good image, he can turn out to be a Jedi!
I thought Ross had revealed (in STF #3328) that Elvis had been reincarnated as the Beyonder.
