It looks like the Avengers and New Gods have patched up their differences from STF #3000... and I have to say, Mr. Miracle and Barda look like they would fit right in with the team. I do hope that they and the rest of the New Gods get another shot at the big screen, now that the Ava DuVernay film has been scrapped. Telling the story of their upbringing on Apokolips and eventual romance would be compelling and provide lots of great moments for a movie.

With tendency for movies to have actors constantly without masks I think the Mister Miracle role would hard to translate to big screen. And without CGI same for Big Barda but I guess they could go route of Gandolf of the Hobbits trilogy.
It's funny how the villain (who is familiar, though I can't quite place him) is turning to his left to look at a disruption happening to his right. Such is the odd nature of theatrical blocking!
@"me": It shouldn't be too hard to find a good actress who fits Big Barda's size. She might not be quite as big, but she'll be big enough.

@Bob: the villain, in this case, is the Collector. But, I think the only thing he's about to collect here is a Big Barda butt-kicking!
Then, again; that's the price of being successfully tricked into looking upward and to his left. What's referred to in escapology as "misdirection."
Gents, While Scott is coming down from above for the misdirection wanted, are they on a ship or in a building? Where is he coming down from?
Regarding exposed faces, tell that to the actors playing the Thing. Very "Grimm" role for them.
if Barda and Scott have a kid, would (s)he be called "Big Miracle"?
They could fit in not unlike Vision and the Scarlet Witch in the classic lineups of yore.
Mr. Miracle's cowl (and whole costume) is pretty hi-tech. I can imagine an Iron Man-type heads up display would give ample time to the actor's face.
And Gina Carano for Big Barda is my choice. Disney's bowing to a bunch of twitter bullies annoyed me and I think she should move to WB (although I've heard rumblings that a Star Wars return is no longer out of the question).
No, not Gina Carano. For one thing, she's only 5'8", and Barda should be at least 6' in height. For another, WB is not only bowing to but actually siding with physical bullies Joss Whedon and Amber Heard. And Gina's return to Star Wars isn't only not out of the question, but from what I've heard is likely, with Jon Favreau going to bat for her.
@Ross and Bob: what about Cory Everson? The female bodybuilder-turned-actress from "Double Trouble." Jean-Claude Van Damme's first movie about separately adopted identical twins avenging their murdered birth-parents.
At 5'10", Cory's closer to the mark, but she's also 63 years old, about twice the age I'd expect. On the other hand, there's Lindsay Kay Hayward, who's 33 and 6'9"; I don't know how she is as an actress, but at least physically she'd fit the bill.
They claim age is just a matter of numbers. Remember "Grumpy Old Men At Sea?" Dyan Cannon was roughly the same age as the other actress playing her mother. And Cannon still looked (as Inspector Gadget would say) "Wowzers!" in a bikini!
@Anon: For a one-off, age is only a minor issue. For a potential ongoing character, I think it'd be best to hire someone who's going to live long enough. In 15 years Cory will be 78, while Lindsay will be 48. Plus, Lindsay could be truly "big" without computer-alterations.
Why not go May/December and cast the other Lindsay (= Lohan)?
